The Pareto Principle

Rate this book
Tom Brady works for a leading edge software company, which is responsible for development of propulsion monitoring and guidance systems, specifically designed for high-speed trains, and commissioned and paid for by the British Government. Having been out of the country for two weeks, he learns of the suspicious deaths of three of his colleagues, allegedly in relation to piracy of the software his employer is developing. In an attempt to save his life, an agent from the treasury department offers him a way out, provided he agrees to a faked death that nobody-not even his wife-must know about. With the backdrop of the worldwide banking collapse in 2008, and the run on currencies and global markets, it becomes apparent that the software theft may turn out to be a smokescreen. What started as a murder inquiry becomes a race to halt the biggest heist of all time.
