A MUST READ!!!!
I became interested in reading Mr. Maurice Hick’s book “LOOKING FOR TROUBLE” after following him on Facebook and reading his excerpts which kept me yearning for more.
Being a native Baltimorean, I wanted to hear firsthand the experiences of a local police officer and his interactions with people on the street and in the community. His book intrigued me more due to the incidents of police profiling and our males and females that were being murdered by the hands of police officers. This book gave me insight into the writers compassion not only for his career in law enforcement but more importantly for the people that Mr. Hicks was charged to serve.
LOOKING FOR TROUBLE” kept me on the edge of my seat as I read Mr. Hicks’ accounts of actual cases. Every chapter left me hanging on the edge and wanting to read more as I read late into the night, not putting the book down.
“LOOKING FOR TROUBLE” is riveting, suspenseful and thrilling! Mr. Hicks is an excellent and prolific writer! As you read, the words come to life as you visualize each chapter. It’s as if i was seeing every episode leap off the pages and on TV as a series or movie. This book will have you gasping, laughing and crying! It will leave you intrigued and wanting more!
“LOOKING FOR TROUBLE” is the book that you need to read! You will experience life on the streets between suspects and a dedicated police officer. He worked tirelessly trying to hold people with criminal intent who committed crimes accountable, all the while trying to keep himself and the community safe.
