I enjoyed this book particularly because I live in Bedfordshire and have walked around Milton Ernest. My only criticism would be there’s a lot of information about the Carpetbaggers operations but less about where they flew from. The charters on Glenn Miller are interesting but I think have now been superseded with other information. He probably did just crash, not killed off by the secret service. However it’s a good book and well worth a read.

This book is not for me. I was hoping to learn about the missions that were run and less about how the base was run, by whom, etc...

I'm happy such a book exists, it's just for someone else.
