The mission to take down Spyral has Dick and Tiger caught between agencies trying to kill them and others trying to do the same thing. Shady deals and alliances of convenience are the theme of the day as Dick looks to find a way to survive this.

We really get a tour of some of the DCU's espionage organizations this issue. We see operatives from SHADE, Checkmate and the Syndicate so there are a number of guest stars this issue - Grifter, Frankenstein and Maxwell Lord. Kind of a fun idea having these organizations going up against each other, especially since a few of them haven't really been around since the New 52 relaunch.

The storytelling in this one suffers a bit from being disjointed. We're dealing with a couple of locations and a couple of timeframes, so the switching is a little awkward and confusing at times. Especially with several new characters introduced to the story, keeping track of them is more difficult in this non-linear told story.

The artwork is also not really top-notch this issue. The art is a bit more "sketchy" than we're used to in this series. Its not as crisp and clean as previous art, so it makes for a bit of a disappointment.

Good issue in a great series!
