Stranded Hearts: An Alien Romance Novella
Prince Draxus of Tagra is the worst . Huge, charismatic, rich, and he’s decided I’m his good luck charm. Only one problem – I’m supposed to be his bodyguard, not that he thinks he needs one. This was a highly entertaining romance that was both fun and funny. Told in dual POV, I really enjoyed the interactions and banter between Draxis and Laura. This wasn't an insta-love story and I appreciated the time it took for their relationship to develop. There definitely was a ton of action, drama, danger and yep, steamy romance. All the things to make for a one-sit reading adventure. Good fun!

Laura, the female human bodyguard lead, has been employed by a cruise ship to provide specific protection for Draxus, the male alien prince lead, who doesn’t believe there is a genuine threat to his life. When the cruise ship is attacked by pirates and Laura discerns that they’re attempting to assassinate Draxus, she forces him into an escape pod. But the crystal forest they land in is deadly and they need to make their way urgently to the resort where they can get help…
This novella is dual POV, well written, and a fun and funny, action romance. I enjoyed the banter between the lead characters and appreciated that each was genuinely protective of the other. I enjoyed their growing awareness of each other and the relationship development.

This was a great book and I do love a strong independent woman that can hold her own amongst most men because nobody suspects a female bodyguard. Prince Draxus of Tagra is on a mission to find allies on an interstellar cruise ship and hopefully find a mate as well everyone see’s him as a playboy but he wants more. Laura is a human and a bodyguard and her assignment is to go undercover to protect the Prince Draxus but she is surprised that she is drawn to the arrogant male but must remain focused while on the cruise ship and when it is attacked by pirates she protects the prince and the get away in a escape pod that lands them in a crystal jungle where they must fight to survive and now there are assassin’s after them as well. Draxus is surprised by the female that comes to his aid against the pirates and they escape together and Draxus soon realizes she is the perfect woman and mate for him. Now they are stuck on a dangerous planet together now they must fight to survive through the jungle as well as the assassins to but the biggest fight they have is there attraction to each other and there steamy nights in the tent. Do they get rescued and if so what happens between them and do they get there HEA or do they go there separate ways.

Laura has a job to do which is being made increasingly difficult by her client. Not exactly helped by the fact that the client himself has no idea that she is there to protect him nor that he is even a client. So, yeah fun times. She is also definitely not cut out to be a waitress. She will grudgingly admit that the scenery is hot though, VERY grudgingly. That is all about to change though as she is suddenly catapulted into action and into a very small escape pod with said client. Draxus would rather be anywhere but here. Here is a cruise ship peopled with the wealthiest and most influential people. He is there to make alliances and more drastically find a mate. Although he is not exactly working hard at the mate part. Especially not since a rather fetching human waitress seems to be on his mind more often than not...
This was a fantastic story and I loved every minute of it. I want more!

She proves as alpha, and as badass, as he when the cruise ship is attacked and they escape pod dumps them on a beautify but deadly planet. Turns out the attack isn't random. Laura's instinct, experience, and ingenuity saves the prince as often as his strength and fighting ability saves her, but nothing can save them from their destiny as mates - unless this fraternal assassination attempt succeeds. No worries, their grand flight for life and love ends in HEA, and my voluntary ARC review is an unqualified "WOW."

I loved this thrilling book!
This witty alien storyline was engaging, it made me smile throughout.
Tremendous writing, and what a gripping and delightful plot!
Very different from the ones I have read so far. Nothing like a superb book and a hot coffee to go with it :)
Laura and Draxus are two strong, determined characters.
It's an action-packed plot with lots of descriptions which added a lovely rhythm to it. Slow-burner, yet to me it was exciting to unravel Laura and Draxus' feelings for each other throughout the book.
I recommend this easy read book to everyone into alien romance storylines!.

This action packed book takes the reader from an elegant cruise starship to a deadly, carnivorous crystal forest. Toss in some serious attraction between Laura and Draxus and you’ve got yourself a fun book!

Laura (h) has been secretly assigned to provide security to Prince Draxus (H) while he’s on an interstellar cruise. When pirates attempt to raid the ship and kill Draxus, Laura will have to step in and save the alien prince whether he likes it or not. Draxus finds himself drawn to the feisty Laura and wants to be her protector when danger erupts aboard the spaceship. After escaping to a nearby planet, the pair will have to battle a crystal jungle and assassins, even as the attraction between them grows. Hot and steamy alien romance quickie. Laura is a strong and thoroughly capable mate for Draxus. Love the king’s rationale as to Draxus and Laura being mates.

This story is hilarious. First, a human female named Laura St. Jude is the bodyguard for a huge, smoking hot alien prince named Draxus. Then the pirates storm the cruise ship looking for Prince Draxus for nefarious reasons. Unfortunately the ship is no longer viable so Draxus and Laura must get in a pod to save their lives. Where they land is even more dangerous as they have to make their way through a deadly crystal jungle while also trying to escape the pirates. The only good things during their dangerous trip is the cute pet that found them and their growing feelings for each other. This is a great story with steamy romance, danger, adventure and perhaps a happy ending.

November 14, 2022This was a really good scifi adventure romance with an actual story and not just a bunch of sex with a little story. So I really enjoyed it!! It had some really interesting elements that I hadn't heard of that were really fun which I won't mention since I don't want to spoil anybody's read. Just read it. I think you'll have a fun time, off planet and on. Just be careful, you don't want to get cut!.

Any reader looking for a sweet romance…look no further. In the beginning of this read I found myself wondering when the action was going to start, but then bam! It was a roller coaster ride of excitement from then on! I like the way Chase took her time developing the characters…you will fall in love with Draxus for sure. Laura was a smart, strong woman who knew her own mind and was not simpering at all! Download and enjoy readers❤️❤️.

It doesn’t take long for the danger to start exploding around the two main characters and it never stops. While Laura wasn’t initially impressed with Draxus, it starts to change when she sees the real him and not the image he was presenting. The author comes up which unique challenges you have never even considered.

Enjoyed this story. Prince Draxus falls for his bodyguard and becomes very protective. The problem is , Laura is his bodyguard and she's trying to protect him. There's pirates, danger and steamy time to make any reader happy as they read Laura and Draxus love story.

I could care less about the main love interests and their journey.
The planet they crash on is so freaking cool! I'm no stranger to sci-fi romance books where worlds are deserts or forest of giant truck size Venus flytraps. This crystal forest though, is the first time I've read something like that, that I can recall. And it was so cool to read about how it works.

I loved this book. It was fast-paced, exciting, and full of action from the start. I really liked the characters. Laura was smart, strong, and capable. Draxus charmed me very fast. This story was a fun adventure. 5 stars.

I found this story very interesting in here the main heroine is human but not from Earth! The book has a lot of action and adventure and mild love scenes and overall, is a great story line, 2 thumbs up!.

There are no words to describe how much I enjoyed this book. It was full of danger, witty dialogue and so much heat! I loved the Prince and his incredibly competent bodyguard Laura. I hope to read more about this universe and the aliens that inhabit it.
