Very good read. Interesting characters and timeline throughout the book. Started out very strong to grab your interest and carry it through the book. Nothing written was irrelevant. All good stuff. Could be a bit spooky to those who are unsteady in the faith. The ending was a bit of a disappointment. It kinda just left you hanging with too many unanswered questions. A sequel should have followed.

I liked the style of writing and I had no problem at all distinguishing all the characters. I think overall , now that I am finished, that there were TOO many characters and I felt like the story didn't actually have an ending. I almost felt rushed to hurry up and end it at or near the 88% mark (I read it on a Kindle fire). The seven thunders title was interesting and the little bit of information you get about that in the book just didn't satisfy me as far as having the entire book named that.
I wanted the visions to have more of a purpose and not just be written down in a notebook and I felt like some things seemed too much out of place. I sound like I am being way too picky but I was absolutely getting into the story and really truly enjoying it very much but it ended up with a hurried "ending" that didn't actually seem to 'finish' the story for me and I have a look back at it as I am now finished and it was a little too long with too many facets to the story that are left hanging for me.
I would really like to read more from the author and I would tell others about this book so I do recommend it, I gave it pretty high star count because there were parts that were AMAZING as far as the writing and the ease that the reader has with each individual character and how the author defined them all. I liked the names he chose too and the writing was sooooo good, I just wish the entire story would have been summed up in the end and I had an overall feeling of adventure, intrigue and horror and faith and all of that not just a long story that I was patient with thinking it would tie together much easier than it did.

I’ll sometimes lose interest in a story if too many characters are introduced, yet the characters in Seven Thunders are quite mesmeric. And I tend to grow bored if a book is too long, but Seven Thunders held my attention. Then there are those pesky rules of punctuation/grammar to consider, but I have to say that the plot is well created and it made me want to forgive minor boo-boos.

While supernatural thrillers aren’t my favorite, the author won me over on this one. Clearly the work of a sharp mind and insightful soul, Seven Thunders took me on an emblematic crossing and I appreciated the passage.

I was so impressed with this book, the story line & the author's writing style. Even though there were multiple timelines, places & characters, it wasn't confusing, the pace was fast & every chapter got more & more intriguing. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the ending seemed open-ended, so I really hope this talented author is going to be continuing this story. I read a lot of independently published & lesser known books in this genre & there are so many gems to discover & this was definitely one of them. I was really blown away by how well-written it was, as if the writer has written tons of books, even best sellers. So anyway, I obviously recommend this book!

Absolutely riveting

As a Christian, it was mind boggling to see Scriptural references turned on end, appropriated, used by evil. Like a truth demonized. Quite challenging, eye opening and riveting. God help us as believers to discern the times, waken from our slumber and arm ourselves with the high praises of God in our hearts and a two_edged sword in our hands. His will be done in and through us.

incredible book. i have to admit, i was a bit confused in the beginning. Phyllip introduces several characters in several periods of time - each very interesting. however, it takes a bit to see the connections between the time periods. excellent read, i couldn't put it down! i will there would be a follow-up! it left me wanting more!

This book has too many characters and individual stories. I know they all tie together in the end, but it's really hard to stick with it and keep up with everyone. It's confusing and hard to read.
