I rated this book 5 star because it was an amazing Christian read.
The story brought me to look into my life as I realize that I have also pulled away from God and his faith. This book is about two families who have both lost a spouse and each had three children. Heather lost her husband four years ago and Matt lost his wife two years ago.
Matt had asked Heather if she knew about any daycare and just so happens that she runs a daycare. So he brought his kids to her daycare. The family's seem to emerge into one as they did a lot of activities together and became friends.
Both Matt and Heather needed to get more into the spirit with their beliefs in God and to set yourself straight on some of the things that were bothering.
If you want to know how the story goes from beginning to end you must read this book because I'm not telling no more....
Happy reading!
They met when they were both heading for the same parking space and almost had an accident and then they ran into each other inside the store where they were shopping to get their school supplies
good contemporary read. Just reading a collection of Mildred's books. Matt n Heather's story. A surprised death can be a test that knocks you for six. But when you are a mother n have kids to look out for... that can be trying. Besides handling the grief yourself the kids are handling grief also... you do need help. Matt had asked for help when his wife died n counselling helped his kids. Heather lost not only her husband n father of her kids, but her home n security. What was God telling her. Her treasures needed to be faith in God base. She was surviving but Brad was a concern. To move on Heather thought she needed financial security so who will she find that will take on 3 kids n her? (six kids n a relationship .... no way)
