The riveting conclusion to the War of Sins Series!
More secrets come to light in this stunning conclusion to Raf and Noelle's story. The events of the hacienda still haunt both lovers. Can they move past the tragic revelations?
I can't believe it's over 💔 This book is the final installment in the War of Sins series and concludes the most important part of their relationship: their past
It was an emotional rollercoaster reading about the things they both went through. Especially the plot twist at the end was rlly unexpected, but it made the book so much better 💗
Everybody deserves a friend like Lucero 💖 She did so much for Noelle and was truly an amazing, selfless friend 🤍
So you’re telling the moral of this whole series is I can delude myself into a different reality to avoid dealing with my trauma. And then let my psychotic brother orchestra a way for me to meet with the love of my life again. Only to slowly fall in love him again and also regain my memories but hide it from him so he doesn’t know that the fake person he fell in love with while he was enslaved actually was me the whole time. But it’s okay because he forgave me and our dead baby isn’t actually dead, he is a she actually and she’s was alive and living with my best friend who I thought abandon me and gave my baby up to be slaughter by my derange husband. Which lead to me burning his house down with everyone still in it because duh..you killed my baby! And I’m also slowly dying because I LITERALLY JUST GAVE BIRTH when this happened. But it’s fine because that’s was like 8 years ago and our baby is alive a well and we live happily ever after!
I will never get back the week I spent on these 5 books.

Is it okay to say I can’t make myself sympathise with Noelle?? Does it make me heartless?? She is so selfish and desperate, God if she had put Raf well being above her, all could have been avoided. But no, she didn’t. She is a fighter no doubt. She did everything to survive *insert eye roll* I’m still skeptical about her actions, I wish she was more on lighter side of dark and have some redeeming qualities, don’t blame me I have boundries.
I was disappointed when Raf forgave her like a snap of a finger. I don’t know what I want him to do...but it felt incomplete and rushed, i couldn’t grasp my emotions coz dude the thing happened in hacienda was truly fucked-up horrendous and one can’t just get over it or forget it just because of love. LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH!! Veronica could have done this in a better way, i know she has the potential. Also could this series have been 2 book less? Definitely.
Anyways this series was a rollercoaster. I wasn’t prepared for the last 20% of the book, it was worth all the trauma I’d endured in the last 5 books. Well whatever I say Raf and Noelle did strengthen my believe in one thing. FATE
I know already Zia and Michele’s trilogy is going to hurt like a bitch. I’m trying to prepare my heart and head both for them.
Omg what a journey, thanks to @authorveronicalancet for the ARC I can’t believe Rafaelo and Noelle’s story came to an end. I will absolutely miss them.
I think this book is my favorite of this series because we see a Noelle who is changing and become a better person and so does Rafaelo.
Their development is everything, Noelle’s actions, as well Rafaelo’s, make sense, everything she did was to protect him, yes of course she made mistakes as Rafaelo did, but she grew out of them and became a better person.
Noelle is such a complex character, you love her or hate her nothing in between. I think that I grew attached to her because she had such an hard childhood but in general an hard life. She’s strong, brave and brilliant and I admire her for it. For being unique and exclusively herself.
Can’t wait for Michele and Zia’s trilogy, I know it will hurt.
Thanks again @authorveronicalancet for the faith you put in me by sending me the ARCs❤️🩹
I can't believe I'm reading the last book about my favorite babies 🥹 I'm not ready to say goodbye yet , these characters have given me so many emotions. How many times I cried because of Noelle's story or how Rafe and Michele were abused. Despite the fact that I was skeptical about some of the actions of the characters, they still were and remain my favorite, Noelle and Rafe desperately and strongly fought for their love, fighting demons, trying to achieve their happy future. I don't know how long it will take me to get over the ending, but one thing I know for sure this series is definitely in my top 2023.
I missed Michele and Zia terribly, but I hope to see them soon and get to know their stories better and how they will find their happily ever after.

Well well well, this book concluded the series. Although there were lots of unbelievable plots, I still quite enjoyed it. The fact that they were playing online games and knew each other from that was quite something lemme tell ya.
90% of the book was about their past in hacienda. How Noelle saw Raf there for the first time, how he was drugged, how she slept with him while he was drugged and would forget about it the next day. It was hard to believe there was that kind of drug that made you seem like you got split personality but I digress.
I wasn’t surprise when their kid was still alive and they had a daughter instead of a son (I read some spoilers before hand) and the daughter, Malia, quite unbelievably being very forward towards them, no awkwardness, no shyness, she just acted like she had been living with Noelle and Raf the whole 3 years of her life which was a bit weird for me and just a tad unbelievable.
Other than that I liked the series. Kinda curious about Michele and Zia story. Apparently they’ll get their own trilogy.

I’M IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION. The big reveal of what happened at the hacienda FINALLY and THE TRAUMA. There were so many little intricacies between the characters that came together to end the story so perfectly. Noelle fought so hard for what she wanted, she never gave up and I’M PROUD OF HER. Raf stepped up and realized all that Noelle had done for him, and while some areas may have been morally gray, she saved him. They were both hurt deeply, but the healing process has begun. Their story was wrapped up perfectly.
Also that ending???? We knew it was coming but I wasn’t ready!!
Thank you to Veronica for the e-arc I have whole heartedly enjoyed this series.
I just can't settle down and can't believe I'm finishing this beautiful book. And I don't want to say protagonist yet. They won my heart and left a big mark there. Many thanks to the Veronica Lancet team for providing the ARC.
Veronica you are my queen. This book won my heart so much that words cannot describe.
<> 🥹💔
It's actually very evident how the characters in this romance grew up. Despite their inner pain and past history they still stay together and love despite the world being against them. Michelle and Noelle are the best thing that happened to me.
What can I say???? The only good part is the ending, how everything ended was the only thing that I gave it 2 stars! And I can not wait to read Michele’s book!! Will I rate his book more than Raf and Noelle’s story? probably, will I like how can Zia fix him? Probably, and would you judge me for it? Probably too but idc.
Let me give you a summary of the book: Noelle: I killed someone Lucero: here is some tea to help you calm down Noelle: I made my husband impotent Lucero: here’s some tea to help you with that Noelle: I rape the love of my life Lucero: here’s some tea to relax Noelle: I am pregnant bc I rape my soulmate Lucero: here is some tea to calm down LIKE GIRL ARE YOU OKEY???? SHE IS OUT OF HER MIND!!! But I also admire her for how she stood up to that muther f@cker! This book clears so many things from the beginning. But also so traumatizing and heartbreaking at the same time, the only moral thing that the book does is if two people are meant to be each other then they will be together no matter the circumstances. I can say I went deep into dark romance I should have chosen a lighter dark romance book and I might have liked this series more but I enjoy reading the book. But please don’t read it without checking the trigger warnings!!
“We’re not equal. We’ll never be equal. But that’s okay. Because I was made to worship you,”
I simply cannot get over this book and it's characters. It's like I am obsessed with them and can't get enough! The first half was despondent and the torment that Noelle & Raf were subjected to was so hard to handle. My heart broke for them and their love story. I was rooting for Noelle and since the first book itself, I knew she could do no wrong. While her character is morally grey, I could understand that circumstances made her do some things that were morally questionable but she did it all for her love and that's what I admire about her the most. As much as this journey was hard for Noelle, Raf too was equally burned. He suffered so much and it pained me to read about his struggles too. This series made me experience a rollercoaster of emotions, whether it was happiness, hope, sadness, disgust, suprise, anger or fear, I couldn't put any book of this series down until I finished it. And the ending of this one has left me feeling so content, I loved loved loved the characters AND the plot both! But, I felt like the first fe chapters and the instances were very repeatitive and I also missed Michele & Zia very much, but I cannot wait to see more of them in the time coming because I'm highly anticipating their book!
First of all Noelle is a dzaddy likeeee what??? I cried so many times whilst reading this book. It was a lottttt to take in and I'm heartbroken over the fact that Noelle and Raf's story has come to an end. They're story made me look forward to something, it made me crave for Veronica Lancet's genius prose and it quenched my great thirst for originality in books. This last installment was no different in excellency from the other books. It answered so many questions... It's absolutely beautiful and I wouldn't have even come to predict anything that happened in it, it is wonderful and definitely worth everyone's time. Even if you claim you don't like dark settings. You'll love this one. Trust me. This is the most beautiful piece of writing that I've ever read. WOW! This is the best book ever! It's worth all the pain we've been through with the other books, it's absolute magic. I LOVE IT. Honestly, it takes the cup📚❤️
Last but not least, thank you so much @authorveronicalancet for making me a part of your ARC team for this book. I really appreciate it and I have absolutely enjoyed your work❤️
What a finale to Rafaelo and Noelle’s story..and a well deserved HEA!! All our questions are finally answered, and in typical Veronica Lancet fashion, they come with several twists and turns.
Throughout the series Noelle is constantly misunderstood, and we finally learn why. All the pain and suffering she and Raf endured led them back to each over and over again..more proof that they are twin flames. They’re the best versions of themselves when they are together and able to basque in their love. Everything else is just noise.
I don’t think I’ve read another series where a couple has fought this hard for their love, and I was very satisfied with where they ended up.
We also see a few cameos of other characters towards the end of the book, and I’ll just say..Veronica sure knows how to keep us stressed!! 😫 I don’t even know what to do with myself while waiting for Michele and Zia’s story..but I will gladly wait! I can’t speak highly enough of this series and this author!!
*Thank you to the author for kindly providing an ARC in exchange for my honest review
Glad Noelle and Raf got their happy ending. It was a rough journey for sure. Def liked them the best after all the secrets were out and so happy that Lucero turned out to be a good person!
I am sad that Michele and Zia’s story was so prominent in the first few books and they just disappeared and I would have to read another series to find out what happened with them. I feel like it should be so intertwined in the beginning if it’s a completely separate story.
72% of this book are flashbacks scenes, showing things I either already knew or could have guessed. I’ll be the first one to say: yes I did jump through “the past” chapters, reading only the key scenes. And honestly I do not regret. Why? Because then, back at “the present”, we have Raf saying to Noelle that he needs time to process all the information and to trust her again. Which is more than fair. Then 2% later (yes I counted) he was saying to her that he forgives her and he loves her and they smush. I’m not even going to mention the bloody mess that was the rape-maybe-not-rape allegations. Wtf was that? And to complete this wattpad of story, their baby that died? Was alive this whole time and as soon as they met her, she was already saying how much she loved them and saying goodbye to her foster parents as if they’ve done nothing. Also, never seen a kid act less like a kid than her, it was like the author imagined this was how kids acted and ran with it. Anyway, I missed the simple days of Raf and Noelle, their story ended up like a mess!

RafNoelle and it’s comes to an end. I cried so much and I couldn’t remember the last time I was reading a book while crying liked that. Malia BABY BABY I KNOW AND I SUSPECTED, THERE HAS TO BE PLOT TWIST BECAUSE VERONICA DOESN’T LET US WITHOUT PLOT TWIST AND IT’S THE BEST😭 Lulu everyone (me) wants a friend bestie sissy like you<333 you’re the best I already love you and Nikki 🤍 wake me up when their story come. DON’T COME BACK, THE THROWBACKS AND THE MEXICO… These memories flashbacks, I couldn’t handle it. But girl😭😭🤍🤍 She’s capable of doing almost everything for him ⛳️⛳️She sees red, sorry 🤯 Noelle was the definition of being a feisty I think. I’m happy to see her happy and with her family as she deserves like Raf <3 my lovelies 🩵♾️ And VladSisi the time is come to for them I’m already ready and they’re going to have a baby🩷🩷🎀 Seeing all my favs in one, making me so happy 💚 BUT MICHELE WHAT DID YOU DONE? Zia… Like what I said their return will be amazing. I’m so excited for their trilogy.
THIS WAS TRULY A WILD RIDE and it ends, best series for sure I’m waiting for the others MicheleZia, LuluNikki, and surprised but I even wonder CiscoYuyu too. RafNoelle has the best experience in it 🤍♾️
Update: I have only two favorite series one of them is Morally Questionable and the other is OBVIOUSLY War of Sins series. I couldn’t get through them that easily and I don’t think I can because I love them and it’s my reason. I’m here for MicheleZia just a reminder 😴😴
Let’s do this in parts. First I really love this series and the final book wasn’t different. I gave it 4 stars and I will explain why.The first part of this review is to say that I really hate Noelle. Since book 3 I didn’t see any truth in her words at all and, in this book, it is the same. Noelle, in my opinion, doesn't love Raf… she only loves the idolatry that Raf gave to her. She wants to be adored and in power, and Raf does it for her. Yes, she was obsessed with him, but I only see the moments that she took any advantage from him (is always for her gain at some point). She is the true villain in the story and Raf is doomed to be with someone like his mother (because Cosima and Noelle are alike). Raf… well, I sympathize with him, mostly because he didn’t deserve Noelle. Why am I given 4 stars if I hate the main character? Because even though I didn't like her, Veronica wrote a masterpiece that involved the reader until the end. She made me connect with the characters and get involved with the story, and for someone to write a beautiful book with so many plots and emotions… Well, this is really incredible work. This whole series is worth it and it’s one of the best mafia books that I have ever read. P.S: Michele I really can’t wait to read your story.
4.0 ⭐️ - up to 80% of the book was really, really good, but i didn’t love the ending that much (even though malia’s reunion was cute, i found it a bit unrealistic and forced and i also thought it was kind of disappointing that noelle didn’t talk, really talk to lucero). this book was another addicting one, i couldn’t put it down, especially the past sections on the hacienda! i was really happy that there was an explanation, and honestly, raf forgave way too fast, but overall, i loved the book and their story! bbviously, they’re a couple with a lot of issues and questionable actions, but this is a dark romance, so its ok 😃 i felt like the story had some plot holes, but i still really liked the book. i probably won’t read the venezia and nichelle book, but i think i would read one about lucero and nick if it ever gets released
We’ve come full circle and reached the culmination of Raf and Noelle’s story. Secrets were revealed, tears were shed( possibly mine) and forgiveness finally gave way to the HEA we’ve all been waiting for. We finally know the full truth and I’m still uncertain if I love or loathe Noelle. I understand her motivations but still I’m undecided. The way VL has weaved snippets of information throughout the whole series and brought it all together at the end is nothing short of miraculous. Her storytelling is so intricate and beautifully written. I’m such a fan. Is it wrong that I picture her in a dark room with scribbles all over the wall showing the links between her various books cackling like an evil genius? Sorry Veronica, I know you’re a sweetie at heart😂😂
Thank you to Veronica Lancet for the arc and this is my honest opinion.
I seriously don’t know where to start. But one thing I know is that this story has blown me away. Not only with the this finale but also the whole series in general. Rafaelo and Noelle have killed me with their tension and chemistry and backstory and everything 😩 Their love is beyond this world and just thinking about what they both went through from start to finish breaks my heart!! Their development and actions make them such well written and complex characters. I’ve just finished The Moral Dilemma but I miss them already! I can only recommend this series a 1000 times, please go pick it up asap!
Noelle tell her side of the story of what happens at the Hacienda and why she deceived him. How he got there and the things she had to do to keep him safe. The abuse she suffer from her Husband Sergio. She would sneak in to see Raf at night as Noelle and in the morning he wouldn’t remember what happen the night before so in the morning just a wall separating them and only a voice Raf recognize her as Lucero. Months pass by until Sergio found a way to get rid of Noelle that she decide it was time to help Raf escape.
Noelle find out she pregnant gives birth and the baby dies in the hand of Sergio because Lucero gave him the baby. But the twist is so good so good. That I can’t believe it and so delighted. We also read about past characters a surprise about Vlad and Sisi. Zia and Michele.
The final book has been so emotional you feel there pain and the things they had to give up and the forgiveness but characters needed.
8/10! I liked how this book gave us the whole truth and how things actually happened, Raf and Noelles story was very angsty but so full of love. Everything she did was to protect him! The ending was amazing too! I loved how that special person appeared back in their life’s! Can’t wait to read Zia’s and Michele’s own trilogy!
I can’t believe I read all 5 of these books in this series. It was completely frustrating that it dragged over so many books but clearly I needed to know how it ended. This was truly a mafia/soap opera for real. Crazy fucking plot. I can’t believe I’ve read them all 😂
OMG! What an emotional, explosive and powerful conclusion to Rafaelo and Noelle’s phenomenal love story!
I know we all have had our reservations about these two and where their relationship was headed, but I have absolutely loved watching them go through their dark and turbulent ups and downs, and the growth in who they are as individuals and as a couple. There were definitely things they both did that delved deep into the WTF territory, but they both did what they did because they love each other so passionately and with everything they’ve got.
I have a love/hate relationship with Noelle. She has done somethings that I thought were irredeemable, but damn does she ever love Raf with her whole heart. You can’t fault the girl for that. She is a fierce, strong, brave and brilliant woman, with a terrible past, but I loved her tenacity and resiliency to fight with everything she’s got for what she believes in and loves.
“…You will always be my one goal, Raf. The only thing I’ll ever strive to deserve. I love you. Now. Before. And forever to come.”
This has been an incredible journey that has wrung every emotion out of me until I didn’t think I would survive this ending. I have laughed, loved, cried, and screamed till my throat was hoarse. What an extraordinary love story that will forever live rent free in my heart and soul.
"I love you, Noelle. You might be the villainess in everyone’s story. But you’ll always be my heroine”
I had my own moral dilemma with your heroine. I am still trying to find a reason to like her. She pushed me past all my boundaries, and I had to work really hard to finish all 5 books! It actually feels good to be done and take a breath. She was just too much on the wrong side of moral values. I can handle a lot, but your heroine had barely any redeeming qualities, if any at all! I'm sorry if I'm being harsh. The storyline was really good, but your hero Raf was what kept me going to get through all of these books. Thank you for all your hard work, I do appreciate your work!
5 ⭐ / 3.5 🌶️ but there are some of the s€xual situations can be violent and graphic in nature, some dubcon/noncon situations included Definitely make sure to check CW/TW - this whole series tackles some dark stuff, and this finale is no exception Third person POV for Noelle and Raf, as well as a few other side characters involved This is the final book in the series, and is NOT a standalone. You will need to read the first four books. I would suggest finding a copy of The Prodigal Son to read as supplemental material for the back story of Raf and Michele, and it fills in some story gaps as a whole. And a heads up, there is no Michele or Zia chapters in this one. Their story will continue in a separate series to be released later. The final chapter to Raf and Noelle's story. And FINALLY, the answer to the biggest question in this series... What happened at the hacienda??? This where dive in from the first page. One thing I appreciated is that there wasn't any time jumping throughout the flashback. It only went to the present once the flashback was told it's entirety. Which works out because the story is insane and intense AF. You get the goods what Noelle has to do to survive being married to pure evil. You get Raf's story about what he went through after being brought to the hacienda. You even get the background on Noelle and Lucero's friendship. It gets pretty heartbreaking at times, and there's definitely some questionable decisions that Noelle makes (shouldn't be surprised after reading all the previous books). The events leading up the fire were ROUGH to read on page. The details were definitely not spared. I was sobbing. Please, PLEASE check the dang Trigger Warnings!!! Once we got back to the present, it's all about forgiveness and survival after the plane crash. Is their love enough to get through the truth of everything? How is this wild story going to end up with their own HEA? Now. We do get an additional chapter of 3rd person POV for Lucero. It lets you see her in a different light after how she's introduced in the previous stories. And then, POW. TWIST TIME!!! Wouldn't be a Veronica Lancet story without a big ol' twist in the middle. I will say, a lot of her chapter does feel like a lot of filler though. But I think it's that way because we're setting up for her book that's coming out soon. Even then, I think a lot of that chapter could have been cut out. I wouldn't say it ends in a cliffhanger, but it leaves Michele's and Zia's story open ended. I think their trilogy should be out after Lucero's standalone. What a wild ride this has been, I can't wait to get into Michele and Zia's story. I'm crossing my fingers for anything I can get for Noelle's brother and sister in law, Cisco and Yuyu. I am so curious about those two and their relationship. I love Veronica's storytelling and that she's not afraid to leave it all on the page, and in great detail. The TW/CW are not in the beginning for kicks, you're gonna get it all on the page. I've had some tears while reading through this series (especially in Prodigal Son), but I definitely cried hardest with this one, but I'm definitely satisfied with this ending.
"I love you, Noelle. You might be the villainess in everyone’s story. But you’ll always be my heroine”
Veronica Lancet's "The Moral Dilemma" serves as the gripping conclusion to the War of Sins series, and man oh man, what a journey it has been! As the fifth and final instalment, the book took me through a rollercoaster of emotions, providing a fitting end to the saga that has captivated me and many others through five books.
At the heart of this series is the extraordinary love shared by Noelle and Raf, a love that stands out as unparalleled. No one's loved one another like the way Noelle and Raf love each other and this sentiment rings true throughout the entire narrative. The writing is beautiful, shifting from third person to first seamlessly, something that I haven’t really seen done before. Veronica has masterfully woven their love story through distinct arcs, proving that despite the odds and the challenges they face, their connection is destined and unbreakable. We’ve seen Raf and Noelle in love three different times, when they were kids, at the Hacienda, and during their fated marriage, and every time just solidifies their love more and more 💕
Noelle, our unconventional heroine, challenges traditional notions of heroism, presenting a character who, despite being cast as the antagonist in her own tale, is not inherently bad but rather ensnared in a complex web of circumstances. The evolution of her character is a testament to Veronica’s skillful storytelling, and the love she finds with Raf is both twisted and beautiful.
Raf emerges as the epitome of an ideal book husband—patient, kind, and unwavering in his support for Noelle. He's just perfection to me! 💕
While celebrating the release of "The Moral Dilemma," it's impossible not to feel a tinge of sadness at bidding farewell to this series. The emotional investment in the characters, the tears, laughter, and unexpected plot twists have made the War of Sins series a memorable rollercoaster ride.
Looking ahead, the anticipation for Michele and Zia's story is definitely there, but I’m actually so excited to be finally able to re-read the entire series now that it’s all out!
On a side note, guys…Veronica, please let my man Marcello out of prison. Can someone please check up on him, he’s been in there for like 3 books now 😭😭😭 Justice for Marcello and Catalina! 😭😭😭
In conclusion, "The Moral Dilemma" not only serves as an exceptional finale to the War of Sins series but also leaves readers yearning for more from Veronica Lancet's imaginative world. The series is a testament to Veronica’s storytelling prowess, and the final book is a must-read for fans who have been on this emotional journey since the beginning.
