Wat heeft Lewis toch een prachtige eenvoudige manier van verwoorden, zonder water bij de wijn te doen. Hij blijft boeien, en niet in de laatste plaats door de beeldspraak die hij steeds gebruikt om zijn boodschap te verduidelijken. Nederig maar wijs.
