About the author

Jill has written a library of original screenplays and 7 more for hire. Two of these were produced: "Rigged" stars George Kennedy and was adapted from a novel by James Hadley Chase. "Socrates" was a PBS pilot starring Ed Asner.

She has published three books: (1) "Mentor Youth Now: A Guidebook for Transforming Youth Lives," (2) "Dolphin Healing," and (3) "Adventures with the Ancient Crystal Skulls" (with co-author Joky van Dieten). All of these books are available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Jill founded the nonprofit organization Create Now (www.createnow.org) in 1996, which transforms the lives of troubled youth through creative arts mentoring and opportunities. Create Now has reached 49,000 vulnerable youth in 24 years.

Jill has trained hundreds of mentors to help thousands of kids. She's been featured on “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams,” CNN’s "Anderson Cooper 360°," local TV and in the Los Angeles Times. She is one of eight people in the U.S. selected to be in an exhibition at the Museum of Tolerance called "Everyday Heroes."
