Storm DeVille is the nom de plume of an American author who chose to re-enter the writing arena after an injury side-lined her for a time. She lives in the mid-west with her boyfriend, their menagerie of rescued animals, tons of books, movies and video games. Her life away from the hectic pace of a big city is just what she wants, after years of living in major cities like Los Angeles, Dallas and Fort Worth.

She has been published over 200 times, under her given name and a few pen names. Her works have appeared in numerous publications ranging from traditional press to magazine, e-zine and online sites. Some of the places her work has appeared are Damnation, Delilah's Adult Fantasies, QuailBell Magazine, The Vampire's Crypt, Bloodreams, Spectre, Enthralled, Gothic Underground, and Wet Elf. She has jokingly said that she enjoys writing elf-erotica for fun. Much of her published work has been of a darker nature, meshing horror or supernatural with high fantasy and often erotica or intense romance. There have also been several non-fiction pieces published in the field of the paranormal.

After a long hiatus from writing, due to a serious back injury, Storm chose to test the writing waters again and put herself out there once more.

It's rare these days to see an author dive into the pulp fiction style of science fiction that was popular in the 50's and 60's, but that's exactly what Storm DeVille does here. Fast paced, adventurous, fun, and a good bit dirty, Assassin focuses on the fiction over the science, creating a new world filled with fascinating people. If you loved the old serials like I do, then this will bring back that nostalgia, and probably send you looking for a cold shower, too!

A fun and sometimes steamy romp through a futureistic world of creative beings with well rounded characters including a strong leading woman. Plenty of action and a good dose of mystery as well. Enjoyed it alot!
