This is utterly unreadable - except the prologue which is fascinating. The language is excessive and ridiculous.

Sample
“An extremely difficult task; but not entirely so; for although Elizabeth had never been her mother’s favourite – due to Elizabeth’s extreme sharpness of intellect, and also by consequence of an unintentional intimidation of her mother – recent events, tending the imminent Pemberley connection had somehow perversely contributed much to the ablation of her mother’s general insufficiency of confidence and regard."

Can you imagine 400+ pages of that? Contrary to the description the book has been reduced to 448 pages.
