Overall incredibly interesting books that covers immensely into the deep moral thoughts behind hunting. Not only that but provides with great hunting stories and cooking knowledge.

I thought it was great. Steve does a great job of telling stories about hunting and applying a philosophical layer to them that he has pondered on through the years it seems since most of the stories have occurred. As a hunter and an outdoorsman I appreciate the stories told and some of the questions and ideas he raised throughout will stick with me and I will probably ponder on and reread for years to come.

Steve and his storytelling were at it again. Understanding his passion for hunting, fishing, and conservation is huge reason why I wanted to read this. 10/10 recommend this book to anyone who loves hunting, fishing, the outdoors, great storytelling, or who wants to know more about conservation.
