A beautiful and inspirational guidebook to working with the natural cycles of the year. This comprehensive book is a source of information for anyone wanting to learn more about tree lore, the Celtic festivals, the five elements, Moon energies and making a deeper connection with the Earth.
As a Druid, I always enjoy the books of Glennie Kindred. They really resonate with me and Earth Wisdom is no exception.
I love the way it breezes though the wheel of the year gently, with its meditations, actions to take and the graceful connection with the land herself.
A worthwhile read that will remain on my shelf for years to come.
I found this really interesting! I think I will consult this book a lot and go back to it for reference and to enjoy the information and warmth that it gives. It is an apple tree of a book.
A beautiful back to nature book. For anyone inspired by the trees and nature. Contains ceremonies and activities that are health enhancing. Very informative and inspiring, it touches on foraging, recipes and uses for the various gifts that trees have to offer, holistic living and wood craft. A beautiful and mindful read 🍃🍂🌳
It read like I was reading someone’s Book of Shadows. Beautiful book with Illustrations, Tree knowledge, Moon phases and the Wheel of Year celebrations and rituals. I gave it a 3, but I think a beginner witch or someone into natural type magic would most likely give a higher rating.
I did skim read the Wheel of the year parts, but I personally feel I read the book 😉
