Raven Lucas appears to have everything. But something is missing from her life. Her father. He has disappeared, suddenly, mysteriously , with no words of goodbye. Has he simply left his family and didn't have the courage to explain why. Is he dead, either by his own hand or another's. Has he been kidnapped? But why has there been no rand some demand? Raven is determined to find out what happened to him. Even if it kills her. And it just might.
This book was a pleasant surprise. Raven was a quirky, funny and feisty character with a somewhat annoying name, but I think that a phase at the moment. Unusual names? The rest of the characters were a perfect blend, they all seemed to complement each other exactly.
The plot was a little over-dramatized. There were far too many twists and turns to be believable but that certainly beats a lack of them. Plus, it kept you on your toes. I did enjoy the rather dramatic ending and will eagerly be reading the second book in the series, Dead Wrong.
I REALLY ENJOYED IT AS IT WAS MYSTIRIOUS . I WOULD LIKE TO READ THE NEXT BOOK. RAVEN THE MAIN CHARACTER IS A SPORTY, FAST , CAN BE EMOTIONAL AND STRONG, SHE IS VERY SUSPICOIUS ABOUT THE PEOPLE AROUND HER AND SHE IS EAGER TO FIND HER FATHER.
A fast read. Raven's dad has disappeared and the further you read e mysteries present themselves. And her mum and Uncle Gerald don't seem to be what they present themselves as. First of three parts.
