I am the death inside you. I am the voice in the dark. You create. I destroy You die... then I die.
By the time Jack begins to guess what this madman means, it is too late. Far, far too late.
William Rodman Philbrick is an outstanding author who has won the prestigious American Library Association Best Book for Young Adults and Quick Pick Awards. Freak the Mighty has been made into a Hollywood film.
A great read! A unique scene in the middle is amazing.....watching an event from afar, through binoculars. Philbrick really captured the fine nuances of this scene, all the while keeping up the quickly-evolving action. And how many books have you read whose narrator uses a wheelchair! Truly enlightening, and also a thrilling read.
