Well, that was fun! The imagery attracted me, actually. I do mixed media art and collage so the vivid imagery speaks to me. I read this book and came away pretty impressed with the volume of observations one can make regarding the hand. Years and years ago, a woman on the streets of Granada, Spain, grabbed my hand and asked if I would care to have my palm read. As she spoke, she suddenly grew pale and dropped my hand, and quickly backed away. Apparently, something she saw, caused this violent reaction...she quickly walked away. Ever since that day, I have been curious about what one might see in another's palm. This book is lovely, and thoughtful, and gave me an idea of what it was she may have seen in my hand. A fun read... - Ginn
The art of hand reading is a wonderful book for people wishing to find themselves. This book shows the science behind the lines in your palms and even the shape of your hand and fingers. All of these things most people over look hint your personality and how you perceive the world around you. This is a very good book that everyone should read. You may even be surprised to learn things about yourself that you didn't even know!
This book is jammed packed with information, for such a thin book (only 120 pages), and there are good visuals which is helpful in this field. However, I wasn't all that comfortable with how things flowed...perhaps the intuitive approach for the author is different than mine would be? Probably that's it...Last comment, I haven't found the perfect palmistry book yet, so this one (& the Palmistry Bible, by Jane Struthers) will have to do for now.
I think that there's alot of truth to palm-reading, but it's more in interpretation and knowing the owner of the palm. This book was pretty good as far as telling you lots of variations, and having lots of good illustrations and side notes.
