An extraordinary television companion, Angel: The Casefiles – Volume 2 delves deep into this riveting fantasy series. Covering seasons 3 and 4, character profiles are given for the main cast and recurring characters (chronicling their journeys throughout the show up to the end of season 4) along with detailed episode guides summarizing the plots and highlighting the clients, weapons used, demon mythologies, series continuity, and other miscellaneous information. Authors Paul Ruditis & Dianna G. Gallagher take over the book series for Volume 2 and do a good job at tightening up the writing (making it more concise and to the point) while still following the format laid out in Volume 1. And, the book is packed with production photos, including colored full page photo galleries for each season. Angel: The Casefiles – Volume 2 is an excellent guide, worthy of this remarkable television show.

Would've been a 4* had the pictures all been in colour. As it's an official companion that bothered me some. But it's a 3.5* from me anyways.
