One of her novels, A Pocketful Of Paradise, was made into a CBS-TV movie called The Soul Collector, starring Melissa Gilbert, Bruce Greenwood and Ossie Davis.
Over the years, she’s written under lots of different names and she prefers the term ‘pseudonym’ to ‘alias’. As Ann Carberry, she wrote western historical romances. As Kathleen Kane, she wrote not only Americana romances, but western paranormal romances as well. As Sarah Hart, she wrote one really spectacular western paranormal that is still one of her favorites. And once, Ann Carberry even wrote a Victorian historical which she absolutely loved doing.
Under her own name, Maureen writes short contemporary novels for Silhouette Desire—books she loves to write because of their fast pace and condensed story telling. Maureen is also writing funny, contemporary paranormal romances for NAL and darker paranormal stories for Silhouette Nocturne.

The mystery thickens. I really like Kim and Zack. But again they need to add more to the story. Where did Zack go for is next mission. Where is Kim etc. there needs to be more of a link with each family member

I didn't like it. Their connection didn't feel that strong by the end and the plot was kind of boring.
Absolutely nothing happened, he was there to guard her and absolutely nothing happened to nesatate him being there. Np.
Also the brief ghost sighting was bizarre, I was not expecting that in this series of books.

Quick, lightweight read.

Continuity book—heroine is daughter of a man running for senator. He’s gotten death threats, so he’s asked a friend to find her a bodyguard—they find a SEAL who’s on leave for the next 30 days to stay with her. (I’m not sure how they managed to order him to do this if he’s on leave, but...) Anyway, he moves in, they fall in love and stuff. Good read.

Again such a quick, still open ending. Would be better as a stand alone story I believe.
