Got me using my glucometer some more and confirmed what I suspected that some of us are more sensitive to certain types of carbs than others (types of carbs and people). I plan on testing several times a day to test my responses to certain foods. Needed some editing/proofreading.

Prediabetic

I purchased a glucometer and I plan to try to use it to learn what foods i need to avoid in order to keep myself from following my genes into full blown type 2 diabetes. Both parents and my 2 sisters were diabetic. I do not want to succumb to this destiny!

This is a very simple book suggesting that it is beneficial to know how your food is affecting YOU. I agree that we are all different and need to do N=1 experiments in our quest for optimum health.

A decent read, but everything I needed from the book could've probably been put as a blog post. This might not be the case for someone who is new to the LCHF lifestyle.
