Dangerous Animals

The world is full of dangerous animals with powerful weapons for capturing prey and fighting off predators. A hunting tiger can kill with just one bite to the neck. A rhinoceros can spear a soft belly with its horn. Even a tiny spider can kill with venom-filled fangs. Animals' weapons are complex and varied. Teeth and claw, horns and hooves, fangs and stingers, spurs and spines, poisons and venom's, speed and stealth are all used to eat and avoid being eaten. Dangerous animals, such as snakes, seldom single out people as prey. People usually become victims when they scare or threaten an animal. Mosquitoes, ticks and flies, which cause disease and death, are very dangerous to people. But the most dangerous creatures of all are people.
