Il n’y a pas de mort naturelle : rien de ce qui arrive à l’homme n’est jamais naturel puisque sa présence met le monde en question.

Trente jours de convalescence d’une mère qui se transforment en trente jours d’accompagnement vers la mort. Un récit à vif sur la perte, la fin de vie qui sépare les êtres même dans la proximité et avant la mort.

I have loved the writing of DeBeauvoir for a very longtime and I still do. The death of her mother was very traumatic to her. The choices to be made and the MD’s insistance on their choices because it was their duties. So true to life.
