Falling Forward
Wes, a romantic and accomplished gay man in his forties, thinks that he has his life in order. He has been in a relationship for years, and he is confident that he knows what the future holds.
But when his partner dies suddenly, Wes finds himself "falling forward" into a future filled with grief, uncertainty, and untapped potential. Now Wes must fight to regain his equilibrium and build a new life in a new city-while somehow holding on to the stability of his lost past. A robust yet disparate group of friends, lovers, and acquaintances become his guides on a new series of international escapades in which Wes finds himself uncompromisingly involved.

He also was a consultant with the United Nations in Quito, Ecuador. Now semi-retired, he lives in Las Vegas, Nevada.
RJ lived on the southern coast of Spain while writing his second novel which will be released in early Summer, 2014.

I enjoyed "Falling Forward" a lot and have recommended to my close friends.
What an engaging love story shared in a unique way. Wes' friends, with their rich personalities, easily identified with my own friends. I couldn't help but walk through this emotional journey and adventure along with Wes.
This story is a heart-pounding story about the ebbs and flows of life - about change, friendship, loving, and being loved...with a message about enjoying what life brings, even if it's only for a short time; and learning to let yourself experience life's ups and downs freely amongst the safety of true friends and true love.
