I was born and raised in Newark, NJ then moved to PA at the age of 16 to work and become independent. Only a month away from my 20th birthday I had my first child, Elijah, even more reason to work hard and stay determined. In the following years I had my 3 other children: Demetrius, Brianna and David. At 28, I was diagnosed with a seizure and schizo-affected disorder but refused to let that stop me from longtime goals. I pushed on to achieve my certification in interior decorating with honors, became a self-published Author, and purchased our first home for our family. My kids are my all, from motivating them to do better and always believe in themselves to watching their favorite shows and going out with them to their favorite places. In my spare time, writing short stories of things I've dreamed of or experienced in life has become a true therapeutic coping skill and I've come to enjoy it very much so.

I really enjoyed both of the stories in this book. Having a family member who has schizophrenia, I know all too well the vividness and oddity of what the mind can create. I am grateful that the author is aware that these are just dreams and not reality and is able to share a little bit of what torments her with the world.

On reading the back of this ( my 3rd goodreads book)my curiosity was peaked. I feel for the author if these are actually her dreams I would be screaming also. I have never read anything so bizarre in my life. Dear lady if writing them down helps keep writing.

This book was a really interesting read. It was two completely different short stories but the catch is that they are the authors dreams. Nightmares.

If this is what she sees in her mind at night, then she must be a strong person.
