This excellent book contains a plausible way to explain why man acts the way they do (the temperament model), and I actually see myself on one of the temperament blends. But Tim LaHaye never stops there. Through Bible verses and personal experience and counselling, he teaches that we can overcome our temperamental weaknesses and reach our God-given potential by living in the Spirit and obeying the Scriptures. This book can help wives understand their husbands better, and help men understand their own selves as well. A profitable read.

The Temperaments is a new system of understanding personality to me. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The best parts of this book, to me, were the simple gospel reminders of what it is to be a Christian.

Tim LaHaye really knows the temperaments, as shown in this book. As I read, I found myself categorizing the men that I know, saying, "Oh, that's why he acts like that!", and "Oh, that's why he did that when I said that".
I learned so much about guys and how they think from this book. Would recommend to wives, girlfriends, and even to the guys themselves...
