i read this for a class and i'm about half-way thru it again. very insightful essays on adolescent development and educational policy. as usual, it's full of freire, brown, lesko, stanley hall, etc. paolo freire is so, so, so idealistic.... (but on the other hand, how am i already so jaded?)
