As a data scientist myself, I found quite a few interesting insights in this book about sexual preferences - general trends, the difference in "revealed vs stated" preferences, the racial biases, and especially the easy to understand data visualizations to illustrate these insights.
The link of insights to product or business strategy was mostly missing in this book. I would have expected more on this.
I also felt the flow of the book not very smooth. It starts well but by the end I was quite confused about the message it was trying to send since there were lot about social media and its ill effects.
This book was written as though it were for me, in that it shares a lot of knowledge but doesn't try to overwhelm you with statistical rigor. It's also interesting and admittedly positive on data science. I greatly enjoyed it.
