Rate this book
Bailee is a woman hitting that stage in her life where all her friends are getting married and having babies while for her an exciting evening is a mountain of paperwork and a glass of wine. That is, until Daniel comes along. Recently divorced with a truckload of issues and a child he never sees, Bailee starts to make Daniel her little project. Frustrated when things aren't developing the way she wants them too, Bailee starts to redirect her energy into the little veggie patch in her garden. Despite the walls Daniel builds to keep her at arms length, Bailee quickly becomes obsessed with making Daniel her own.

As she tries to navigate her way through falling in love for the first time, Bailee has to learn the difference between love, ownership, and obsession, and how to love someone who doesn't love you back, without losing yourself in the process.

A great first novel to hit the shelves by a new, young author. An entertaining read that is both emotional and comical. Fantastic for those lazy rainy days or a sunny day by the beach. Can't wait to see what else comes our way from Stephanie in the future.

Wonderfully written with just the right amounts of quirky, comedy, awkwardness and romance. A fantastic first novel by this budding author - you'll need a few straight hours for this one, you just can't walk away!
