I had 0 knowledge going into this book so it was informative! My only issue is it was published in 2011 so some information could be outdated by now.

Incredibly helpful and relevant to Canadian Mortgage market. It is a good introduction into the different facades of obtaining a mortgage including information on the industry, profession and general house buying process. There are some good resources listed including Mortgageresource.ca and various governmental agencies. There are basic calculation examples as well as basic estimates of closing and purchasing costs. Overall, it is an accessible read with some technical language that can be challenging to comprehend.
