There are big celebrations at the Harbour for the brand new pleasure boat, The Merry Midas, and the Ballygandon Gang go to join the fun. Brendon is showing off his new digital camera to his cousin Molly and their friend Dessy, when suddenly through a cabin window he sees a strange sight. The boat's captain is secretly passing a wad of banknotes to a politician - CLICK! Brendan's camera has caught the scene! This picture leads to hair-raising adventures, as the captain's henchmen pursue the Ballygandon Gang to try and snatch the camera. Through hiding-places on boats, in caves and in a haunted castle, the chase goes on. The Gang uncover sinister crimes, while thieves double-cross each other and will stop at nothing to get hold of the glittering loot. Will the gang evade capture in time to expose the deadly truth the camera reveals?
