Troy Taylor takes us on a historical journey through past time to modern day of the Villisca axe murders in Iowa. The author puts together a well researched account of not only the murders but of the other possible “serial killings” that are occurring during that same time frame. Allowing for the dates to line up with the Villisca axe murders, he gives a professional researched opinion on who may have been the killer if convicted. Thru the journey the reader will find their own conviction of who may have done the murders. The most interesting part of the story is the political blowout that had occurred in Iowa with the investigation and finding the killer. This book is great for the true crime fans of a story that was lost thru time.
