About the author

I am a mild-mannered project manager by day, but afterhours my inner author emerges.

Writing allows my characters to always have the perfect witty comeback or snappy comment and gives my need for control free rein at crafting hurdles and happily-ever-afters for my characters to experience.

I balance a full time career, family, pets, and writing- and still fit in good coffee, adult beverages, going to the gym, and hanging with my friends on Marco Polo.

I have loved Bonnie in the other books she and Cam made appearances in and knew this book would be a great read. Cam is blind to Bonnie and takes her for granted. She decides to give him a piece of his own medicine with interesting results.

I love visiting Kissing Springs! I was so excited to come back for a visit and meet Cam and Bonnie!

I loved Cam, his dreamy accent and his determination to be rise in the country music industry. Cam was the dreamer/black sheep of his family. I love that he stuck to his rule about not dating and/or sleeping with women he works with, until his blinders are removed by the realization of his feelings for Bonnie.

I loved Bonnie, her talent at song writing and singing, how she was so quick to make friends in a new place and her strength to step out of her comfort zone to help with a big career and personal decision. I loved watching her grow into something more than Cam’s assistant, song writer and Girl Friday and into her own person in the spotlight.

I really enjoyed this book, I loved that Billy, a fellow Nashville Star, plotted with Bonnie to make Cam jealous and make him see his feelings for her. Billy and Amelia were the perfect friends to help Bonnie grow as an individual.

I do wish that Bonnie would’ve made Cam work a bit harder for her affection instead of caving so quickly. And I wish Cam would’ve willingly romanced her more than he did once he realized his feelings towards her. Either way, I really enjoyed this book and cant wait to explore the rest of this season’s books and the other seasons of Welcome to Kissing Springs. I’ve read most of them but not all of them and plan to finish them all. I highly recommend all the books!

Bourbon & Bagpipes is a steamy, small-town, friends-to-lovers, girl gets her country music star romance. Bonnie is a talented singer and songwriter. Cam is a hunky country singer from Scotland and a known playboy. Bonnie has been in love with Cam for the two years she has worked for him. Cam has been completely oblivious to the same and takes Bonnie for granted. Further, he has a rule that he doesn't date anyone he works with and has put Bonnie straight into the friend zone. When Cam and Bonnie, along with the rest of their band mates, get a 4 month music residency in Kissing Springs, Bonnie and Cam end up living together. Bonnie decides that she will move on when done if nothing happens with Cam. Another musician in the show hears her dilemna and offers to be her fake boyfriend in an attempt to make Cam jealous. Will it work? I have to admit Cam got on my nerves a bit at times. I just wanted him to get his head out of the sand to see what he had in front of him. Bonnie was also a bit too forgiving, in my opinion. All that being said, this couple had amazing chemistry, and we do get a happy ending finally.

Bonnie Grant is seen only as an assistant, songwriter and Girl Friday by Cam. He's never noticed the huge crush she's had on him. He's still clueless now that the crush turned into love. Now Billy, another Nashville star, has a plan. He'll make Cam jealous by dating her. His plan may just work a little too well.

Cam McDonnell is the rising Nashville star with the Scottish accent. He's never one to pass up the adulation of his fans. He loves the limelight but is still grateful for it. In his family he was the dreamer and the odd man out, especially with his father. Now that his dreams seem to be becoming true, Bonnie might not be included.

Cam doesn't date women he works with so Bonnie is strictly off-limits. However, when Billy, another country star, plots with Bonnie how will Cam react? Will this be his wake up call?

Rising star Cam doesn't date anyone he works with so Bonnie has been friend zoned. For two years, she has had a major crush of Cam while she writes the music and sings backup for him. A friend and fellow musician is going to fake date her to get Cam to look at what he is missing. Will it work? Will she leave to do her songwriting on her own? Will he wake up and start to treat her right or keep parading other women by her for one nights? Cam could be a big jerk sometimes, but Bonnie overlooks that most of the time but has had enough. The storyline builds to a nice wakeup of feelings and emotions before it all comes together. Great addition to the series.

I loved Bourbon & Bagpipes: Welcome to Kissing. Bonnie needs ti end her crush on Cam. It’s either he needs to realize they are meant for each other or walk away with her heart somewhat intact. Cam is a player and he doesn’t date people he works with so why is he suddenly thinking of Bonnie differently? Watching her date Billy is kicking him, they are friends, best friends but that’s it. Right? After a hook-up he disappears and Bonnie leaves. She won’t wait around for him to break her heart more. Will he realize his mistake before it’s too late? I loved the storyline and the characters. Although I needed some translation for some of Cams words. Lol. I would definitely recommend this book.

“She was breaking up with me, and we weren’t dating.”

I was actually surprised at how much I ended up liking this book after the worrisome prologue. I mean, I knew Cam wasn’t into relationships but I didn’t realize he was such a player and that Bonnie had been watching him sleep with any female he could catch for two years, all while being secretly in love with him. It became clear pretty quickly that the main problem was Cam was truly clueless. Once I realized this it was easier to continue. For the most part the rest of the story was fun, watching Bonnie force Cam to open his eyes and see her as a woman. I expected it to take longer and require more effort and it all resolved a bit to quickly. Still we got a nice, complete HEA at the end.

This is Cam’s and Bonnie’s story and it’s a wonderful read. Bonnie has loved Cam for the 2 years they’ve been working together but Cam has this rule against being with anyone he works with. He’s a rising country star and it doesn’t bother him to have random hookups with women. Bonnie has had it, thinking he’ll never see her as anything but a friend so when she starts fake dating another singer will it open Cam’s eyes or cause Bonnie nothing but heartache. I loved this story, once I started it I could not stop reading. It’s fast and steamy and a great happy ending. Loved it.

Cam and Bonnie - a singer and his songwriter/backup singer - co-workers, friends and nothing more. Bonnie has been in love with Cam for two years but he never dates co-workers. She comes up with a plan to make him realise what they could be or she’s leaving before her heart breaks further.
An easy read full of steam, romance, emotion and a wonderful HEA.
If you’re looking for love, Kissing Springs is where you’ll find it.

This was a fun and delightful story. Bonnie and Cam have been working together for a couple years, Bonnie has had a crush on him for as long. Cam has had feelings for Bonnie but does not date coworkers. Tired of waiting, make Bonnie can kick things into motion with a fake date?

This was an excellent story with the perfect amount of drama and stubbornness that pulls you in quickly.

This book was really entertaining, I have to say. The fake dating trope, best friends to lovers, mutual pining but trying to keep your feelings from showing whereas the other one is very dumb and oblivious, everything was done just perfectly. I also enjoyed the slight bit of drama, cameos of previous book/series characters.

Cam and Bonnie is a cute, steamy story. Bonnie has had a thing for her boss for almost 2 years now but Cam doesn’t date anyone he works with. So Bonnie and another musician friend “date” to see if it opens Cam’s eyes.

A wonderful story of Bonnie and Cam. At times I thought he was a real douce because of the way he treated Bonnie. But despite that, the chemistry and attraction between them was amazing. It's a nice story, steamy and hot and a bit scary, but in the end they have their hea.

Set again in the US romance capital, Kissing Springs, Kentucky, this novelette is one that has you rooting for all the characters in the story. Fun, while sometimes stressful, wondering how the two main players’ music careers and love will turn out! Great read!

Country music stars at their best

A musician who doesn't mix business and pleasure and his female song writer develop a great friendship. Could it become more? She also sings and at times sings with him at his concerts. Very enjoyable book. Love all the characters.
