Watson and the Case of The Sneaky Stealer Interactive Book includes Watson Story Buddy Interactive Stuffed Animal

Rate this book
This book comes as part of a package with an "interactive story buddy" from a stuffed gray-and-white raccoon named Watson. As an adult or child reads the story aloud, Watson makes remarks at specific prompts. What a great idea! In this episode, several animals in the neighborhood are missing items. Candy Cat has lost a ball of yarn. David and Darla Duck have lost some feather down trail markers. Ronald Rat discovers that he's lost a piece of rope. They all call upon Watson for help, because he LOVES mysteries and is the "go-to raccoon" they know and love. He eventually succeeds in figuring out where everything has gone. Hurray for Watson! The storyline is simple enough that a beginning reader could learn it and navigate it. The illustrations are colorful and supply additional visual clues. Savvy users will soon understand what lines cue Watson's responses, and they may find other ways to entertain themselves with him. Advanced readers could even write their own Watson adventures.

Watson is a clever raccoon who loves solving mysteries.. All the animals in the forest know that whenever there is a mystery Watson is the one to call and the cry goes out 'Watson, I could really use your help!'

In this, the first of the series, Watson is called upon to find Candy Cat's missing yellow wool, assists David and Daria Duck in getting their ducklings down to the pond because someone has stolen their markers, helps Roland Rat to find his stolen rope and when he solves the mysteries, it is a really cute ending with the animals toasting Watson with bumbleberry juice.

All the animals, delightfully illustrated by Karla Taylor, know that their friend Watson loves solving mysteries!

This an interactive story book from Hallmark that goes with the stuffed raccoon named Watson. This is one of the neatest toys I've seen! Watson the raccoon responds to certain key words and phrases in the story, so as you are reading along, Watson chimes in with a comment that fits right in with the story! So much fun!

Cute book my mom got the girls for Christmas. There is a raccoon stuffed animal that you read the book too and he's programmed to respond to certain phrases. The girls love this and want to read it over and over.
