Considering this book was made thirty years, I'm pretty impressed with how well it's put together. Junior non books from that period are not usually so well done.

Basic information about Vikings, perfect for young readers. The illustrations were great. I LOVED the story at the end about Thor meeting the giants. It made me want to dig out all my Nordic tales. I've always been a big fan of Norse Mythology.

My five year old son enjoyed learning about vikings from this book. It has crafts you can make through out the book. He was very excited to do some of those and pretend to be a viking. Great book for homeschoolers. Well put together book for young readers.
