An inexperienced backpacker chooses a remote, unmarked basin in a wilderness area as his late-summer, hiking destination. Against his better judgment, he decides to make the solo hike on his four-day Labor Day weekend, a time of year known for early winter storms. This is not the kinda book I like to read but it has a great story if your looking to read something short this would be it you could finish it with in 30 min-2 hours depending on on how fast of a reader you are.
