Omg, this story was insane, it just blew my mind with all the twists and suspense. The good thing was that Bailey covered every plot ground with multiple povs and provided the best experience of reading and living in Neverland.

The story rotates between the human world and Neverland for a while and that makes the timeline tricky. It keeps on fluctuating as the story demands since times move differently in both worlds. Once I got the hang of it, it was all worth it.

Bailey has given a powerful ending to this series. The plot has grown drastically throughout these books one by one and we get a very dangerous and dramatic story to enjoy and binge on.

For all the Peter Pan retelling lovers, this one is an amazing fantasy and has lots of spice to it. Be ready to expect the unexpected. Everyone is going to get what they truly deserve.

I was totally not expecting the story to go and turn 180 degrees and pop up a precious gift which is all the motivation for the good to take over and win the magic as it’s supposed to be.

The story starts with Wednesday waiting for Peter Pan as he leaves her at the end of the second book. It was a heartfelt time full of hurting and experiencing a miracle for her. If I say I’m in awe of the ending then it is an understatement.

I loved how well Wednesday has adapted to her surroundings once she is back to where she wants to be and James plays a major role in this where he was not that active in the first two books. We get to see a lot of him in this one.

I missed Peter Pan so much and wanted more of him but in the end, I think it’s all justified. A lot of emotions changed while it all moved forward and I was not supposed to feel bad for Cass but in the end I did.

It’s a 4.5⭐️ for me.

A Neverland Novel Series comes to an epic end with The Island of the Lost. Bailey wasted no time with giving us the angst, drama & love. If you have not read The Lost Darling & Second Star to the Right, then this review will give spoilers. Please read the first 2 books before reading this one.

After that shocking ending of Second Star to the Right, I'm glad Bailey got back into it right away. Wednesday is waiting for Pan to come back to get her, but something is not right. Her sister Tyle thinks she's developed Stockholm Syndrome, but Wednesday knows the truth and no matter how many times she tells her, she won't believe her. But even more shocking Wednesday finds out she's PREGNANT by none other than Cass. And after she gives birth, Cass comes and steals their baby and flees back to Neverland. Now Wednesday is losing her mind and FINALLY after 5 years she runs into James and finds her way back to Neverland. But Neverland is dying, and they have to find a way to stop Belle and save everyone they love.

This book keeps you on the edge of your seat for sure. To read about Neverland hurting like that destroys a part of them, and if you are a fan of Peter Pan like I am then you feel their pain. Neverland is a place of hope, dreams and love, and to see Belle destroy it over greed was brutal. Cass was one of those characters that you love at first, but then hated him because of his actions. But even a villain can hopefully be redeemed right?

Wednesday, Pan, & Peter are a dynamic team to begin with but when they add James to their team, they are UNSTOPABLE. The love they have for one another is pure and epic. They will literally do anything for one another, and Wednesday does something that Wendy couldn't do. She didn't choose between Peter and James; she chooses them both. She proved there's enough room in her heart to love them both. But the betrayal this team faces is unexpected and cruel. I clearly didn't see it coming but it was beautifully planned. Peter Pan is and always be one of my favorite fairy tales, and this is one of my favorite retellings of the classic story!!

Tropes: Fantasy Romance, Peter Pan retelling, enemies to lovers, morally gray characters, action/adventure

After growing up with Peter Pan being my least favorite fairytale, this trilogy ignited a new love for this adventure. I've already made a list of all retellings available from Amazon & Goodreads. Bailey Black has made a fan for life out of me. I love the way she made this timeless classic all her own. By the end of the story, I was utterly enchanted and completely satisfied with how she brought Wednesday's journey to a close. The angst-filled plot kept me on the edge of my seat as my adrenaline pumped with each new twist and turn. I could never guess what would happen next. I couldn't recommend this read more. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

The final piece to Wednesday’s story!

The twists, and turns in this book we’re truly amazing and kept me on my toes the entire time! Multiple POVs made this book what it was, and there wasn’t anything left to question. I really loved getting to know the difference between Peter and Pan during this book.

Thank you Bailey for an advanced copy of this book, and allowing us to go back to Neverland ✨

James, Peter, & Pan, oh my!

*some spoilers*

If two men wasn’t enough, let’s add a third in this book. What a delicious predicament Wednesday finds herself in. I love the bonding of her and Tyle, but I couldn’t imagine them truly getting along long term due to all the issues of the past. Smee can kick rocks, and I wish they’d made Belle suffer more. This was a perfect ending to this series!

The Island of the Lost is the third and final book in the Neverland Novels Series and beautifully wraps up the series. I love that we finally got to see more of James and his relationship with Wednesday grow in this one. There was so much packed into this book and seeing Wednesday finally get her happy ending was so nice! 4⭐️

I heart broke for Wednesday in The Second Star To the Right. She waited for Peter or Pan return back and had to deal with her pregnancy kind of alone . I know she had her sister but you can tell it wasn’t enough.

It was a shock how much time went by in between worlds. What was only a few days in Neverland was 3 years on Earth.

The bar bathroom scene wasn’t for me. However Im glad that James found his way to her and that she was able to get back to Neverland .

I won’t write what happens once she gets back to Neverland because I don’t want to spoil the ending . But there are a lot of twist and turns. Great ending.

Holy moly, I love this novel more than the previous 2. Add in more action, more secrets, and more steam. This book had that all. I had to keep flipping to figure out what happened in the end.

I will say I was shocked a few times but absolutely happy with how everything turned out. I'm sad we were at the end.

Pan, James, and Peter are literal sweethearts and morally grey that I would love to keep. Wednesday has had a rough go, but she makes the most of everything and, with a little help, finds ways to accomplish what she needs. I loved the world building and the twist on this fairy tale. I can't wait to read more by Bailey.

Where do I begin! This trilogy is awesome, this is the third book, and you must read in order so if you haven't read the first two, I suggest you go grab them! This book starts off where book two left us. This whole trilogy has been a roller coaster, and this book is just the same! There are some things that you don't see coming and I absolutely love that in a book! Bailey did such a great job with this trilogy and if you love retellings I would highly recommend this trilogy!!!

Omg the only thing that would have made this better is an epilogue. I absolutely adored this Peter Pan retelling. Wednesday was a perfect fit of headstrong, heartache and adventure. The lead MMCs I don’t want to say too much and give spoilers but my goodness!
This is not spice centered-this is more about the story with a sprinkle of spice it was a great balance.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I am obsessed with Bailey’s writing and this story! The way this book ends the trilogy is just 🥹🥹 the character growth, the passion, the spice 🥵 this book is a roller coaster to say the least. We love and hate some of our faves from the series, we learn so many secrets and have a stressful yet beautiful adventure through Neverland yet again! I think this trilogy goes onto my *books I would love to read again for the first time* list.

We have betrayal, love, loss, lust, found family, surprise pregnancy (it works for this one I swear lol), an enthralling battle for the throne, and an epic HEA.

I’ve enjoyed the series from the beginning and would happily read all 3 books again. I mean a reverse harem with a direct descendant of Wendy and Peter, Pan (the dark twisty shadow Bailey adds in to the plot is gold!), and Hook?? Come on!

Thank you, Bailey, for selecting me to receive an ARC of The Island of the Lost! You have an incredible talent for storytelling. Each Neverland Novel has captivated me and made me feel as if I were right there along Wednesday; her journey was an absolute gift. To say I love this series is an understatement. This is my favorite Peter Pan retelling! The elements of spirituality, past lives, and psychic abilities tied in were incredible. I was surprised consistently throughout the book and am so appreciative of it! Lovely imagery is sprinkled throughout, making it easy to fall in love with Neverland and its characters. I laughed quite a bit, shed some tears, and found happiness. If books don't move you, what's the point? This trilogy will be one I read again and again!

It's bittersweet to see this series come to a close. This one takes off where the 2nd one ended. Wednesday has returned back to her family, but she still misses Neverland and Peter. She is still trying to figure out her place in the world. But when an opportunity presents itself to go back, she doesn't hesitate.

I loved the authors perspective and how she made these childhood characters her own. And she brings the series to a perfect closure.

What a ride! I have really enjoyed this retelling. I devoured this one like I did the other ones, amazing characters and the world she built for them. What an ending too, so glad to see how everything went for them.

Thank you Bailey for this amazing retelling. The way that Peter Pan’s shadow was written as a person, and a morally grey one at that??? Yes please! I loved how they all eventually came together to be able to help Wednesday. The character change with Cass.:..I was so conflicted! I wanted to hate him for what he did to Wednesday, but then he tried to save Mira? Did not expect the twists and turns, but was amazing! Thank you so much for such a great story!

You think you know the story of Peter Pan, but this will show you how it could be twisted. The Darling was made to choose 1 man to love when she should have been able to have all 3. Yup you heard that right 3. This book was fantastic, and I didn't want to put it down. I have read several retelling of Peter Pan, and this might be my favorite!

Oh my god. I couldn’t put this book down. The spicy scenes were spicy enough to keep me turning the pages, but the non spicy plot was just as scrumptious. I love how Bailey B has taken a classic fairy tale and turned it grown up. (My favorite part was the newsletter subscriber bonus chapter 🥵) I absolutely recommend this series for fans of Peter Pan, Neverland, and why choose situations.

Bailey never disappoints I am so great for the opportunities she continues to give me to proofread her books! This book is just as well written and full of life as the first two! The flow of it is so good and easy to read and if you love Peter pan Bailey has given us a really awesome different pov while still staying true to the characters in the original story!

I really enjoyed the final piece of Wednesday, Peter, and Pan's story. I was quite surprised by some of the twists that were added to the story. Some were very unexpected! I read this in one sitting because it was nonstop action pretty much right from the beginning. I got so immersed in the story that I couldn't put it down. It flowed beautifully and was an easy read.

I loved all the descriptions of Neverland. Bailey Black did a wonderful job painting the scenes and making it easy to picture all the beauty and wonders of Neverland.

It was a little confusing at times with the time jumps between Neverland and real life. It sometimes felt like things were missing or left out before it picked back up and went on as usual in the current time-line. I kept having to remember that time is different in Neverland.

Cass really put me through the ringer. I wasn't expecting to feel bad for him, especially after all he had done. I still felt sad for him though. Some of the other characters came off as a surprise as well.

I really liked how the story played out with Peter and Pan. That was an interesting adaptation for the story. James was a nice touch as well. He was so sweet and caring.

Totally a personal preference but I think this would have been better as one longer book instead of cut into three separate books. I also wish it would have had an epilog. The ending felt a little sudden and abrupt. Those are just my preferences though. Overall it was an enjoyable and quite exciting story. I really liked the characters and the direction the plot took. If you enjoy Peter Pan retellings then I think you will really enjoy this trilogy!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

This is the third book in A Neverland Novel series of books. You will need to read The Lost Darling and Second Star to the Right or you will be lost reading this book. I am really loving this retelling of Peter Pan. I love when fairy tales from my childhood that I still to this day remember gets reinvented.I have loved this journey with Wednesday. I don't really know how to tell you anything that happens in this book without giving something away. There is a lot that goes on in this book. I will warn you that there are so many moments ii this book that your kindle might catch fire in your very hands. You are going to love to hate some characters in this book. That is just a fact that has held true throughout this series for me. And some of these love to hates are really surprising if you are familiar with the original story. There are secrets to be learned and some things will be a huge surprise to you. I know they were to me. It is certainly a roller coaster of things that you never want to come to a end of get off the ride. There is love and loss, betrayal, ans moments that will have you on the edge of your seat. I have loved this series so very much. I am so sad to see it go. It's been a beautiful journey that is so well written
