Seems like a decent compromise between brevity and thoroughness. Better for reading straight through than Wade's "Comprehensive Russian Grammar," which is more exhaustive but more of a reference grammar. Has lots of example sentences with stress marks and English translations.

Covers the usual suspects:

1. nouns
2. adjectives
3. pronouns
4. numerals
5-6. verbs
7. adverbs
8. prepositions
9. conjuctions
10. word order
11. punctuation.
