We are going to visit my cousin in Portland this August. I wanted to get a brief overview of Oregon so I read this book. It was very good about the history, sports, entertainment, wildlife and people that make up Oregon. I learned a lot. One thing I learned is that a mineral found in Oregon called zeolite is used to keep aquarium water fresh. I had never heard of it.
