24 pages. This book has beautiful photos and great information. There are good labels on photos. There is a section at the end of the book wit even more information. Highly recommended for Grades K-5.

Part of a great nonfiction series (Read and Learn by Heinemann)...great illustrations, easy to read for young learners/readers, and includes nonfiction text features
