Anna has recently moved with her parents to a small country inn in Vermont. One night, a girl her age, Roxy Cray, born in 1803, walks into her room. The two spend time together and become good friends. But when Anna finds herself in trouble, miles away from help, will Roxy be able to save her
This was great, I couldn't put it down. I stayed up reading it until I was finished. I think it was a great cautionary tale for young women. I definately want to get a copy for my daughter to read when she's Anna & Roxy's age. It moved along at a really fast clip. Anna's voice was very genuine. I really liked her character a lot. She was really smart and on-the-ball, and yet because of youth and inexperience, she was a good target. It really shows how easily a smart young woman can fall victim. I liked the setting of an old, small Vermont town. I also liked the side characters. Very well done. So glad I found this one.
