Adam Jewison is trying to recover from a year of tragedy. First, his brother commits suicide. Then, his friend does the same a few months later. As the winter approaches and loneliness closes in around him, what does he have left? The retelling of Christian Bewell's first novel Affinity, and his seventeenth work.
Christian Bewell was born in Edmonton, Alberta in October of 1990. His father is a warehouse worker and his mother is a student in university in the social work program. His older sister is a mother of two and her husband is a millwright. Christian shuffled back and forth from home to home and even spent time in a women's shelter with his mother and sister. He has worked retail jobs and is currently in school for upgrading. Christian has been a vegetarian since 2004, openly bisexual since 2006 and has atheist, capitalist and anarchist leanings. He wrote Affinity over the course of the 2010-2011 holidays and published it on Valentines day.
