Canvas is a cat that had to live his life all on his own. But one day, he isn’t alone anymore. An artist finds him and takes him home where they paint, eat treats, and have fun all day. But the artist gets sick and passes away. What is Canvas supposed to do now that he is all alone again? This charming picture book explores a cat’s journey of finding a family, dealing with grief, and honoring the memories of loved ones lost.

Hey everyone!

I am a freelance artist, but I also like to dabble in being a self-published author/illustrator of children's books.

Reading has been one of my favorite pass times ever since I was a kid! I love manga, graphic novels, well-written fanfiction and pretty much any book that delves into sci-fi, supernatural, or fantasy genres.

The nostalgia I feel for the children's books of my youth are what inspire me to create children's books myself. I wish to make books that not only teach important lessons to kids, but also carry on as fond memories in their adulthood like mine did for me.

I plan to illustrate - and possibly write - more children's books in the future. So feel free to check out my artwork and keep track of my progress by following me on Instagram (@multiverse_kid27).

This was such a heart warming story. Following the characters and how they process the lost of a friend will pull on you heartstrings. The illustrations are amazing!! They truly help to tell the story. I have shared this book with adults who have recently lost parents. They found it very comforting. A great book to give anyone who is dealing with grief.
