The definitive series of epic Dark Heresy adventures found in The Haarlock's Legacy trilogy are together at last in one package. The new packaging of Tattered Fates, Damned Cities, and Dead Stars is ideal for any GM looking to run a campaign with ease and enjoyability. The Haarlock's Legacy trilogy offers a satisfying experience for new and veteran players alike, as they travel throughout the Calixis Sector uncovering dark secrets and investigating a suspicious pattern of events. This thrilling adventure transports players into the midst of bloodbaths, power-plays, and sanity-shredding secrets, leading up to a shattering climax that will decide the future of hundreds of worlds.
With some personalize modification, Dead Stars was a great module that will be talked about in years to come with my group. Everyone like the competing factions, Warp daemons, and alternate times lines and the bonus to decide whether or not to free Haarlock, and the possible consequences that entailed, was great climax to the series. The highest marks of an adventure are: do you want to run it and do the players enjoy it? So far, I can only answer the first with a yes. This three part adventure gives a mix of structured and free form encounters, readying the GM to run the adventure while leaving hooks to integrate other campaign material. I especially like the final part in that players are given the run of the armory and so they can feel full inquisitorial agents. A worthy and proper conclusion to a campaign.
