People often took things for granted, like us. We took our time before arriving in Incyssia for granted. We should have done so much more to cement the comfort and ease we had while parading as humans. Now, it was nothing more than a distant memory. For a few brief moments, we finally felt safe and at peace, then, as they always did, things came crashing down. We should be enjoying our time with our mates and preparing for our lives after the twins’ arrival, but the months succeeding our rescue were a rollercoaster of emotions, reveals, and utter discord. Atticus, Blair, Cillian, and Ira do their best alongside Remy and her mates, but we are still pawns in a game far greater than we ever knew. New players came out of the shadows, and old ones stepped forward, shedding light on past secrets and deceptions. No one was who they said they were, and our trust was dwindling, cocooning us in a sea of doubt. When things turned for the worst, logic said there was something to fight for, but the darkness seeping in said something entirely different. What were we to do when we were alone in our minds and surrounded by betrayal? This is a why-choose, dark romance with FF and MM that follows twin sisters, Cora and Lena. Warning: This series isn't for the faint of heart at times, so pleaseee read the CW/TW's before reading.
That ending, let me start there, it got me HARD.... I am so sad and I don't know what will be for sure, but the way it seems, a brave wonderful person, or two was lost to us and that's NOT cool.
Coralena is pregnant, just waiting for her babies to come. Bonds are being made, some more surprising than others. There are traitors in our ranks, and what will them being there cause. I am still sitting here absorbing it all. I knew this series wasn't going to be easy at times, but my heart is hurting. Waiting for the next one is going to be torture.
I'm thoroughly overwhelmed by the cliffhanger of this book!!!! I was very excited for this book and to see at would come from it. There were so many aspects and relationships to build and continue to develop. Sullyn really navigated it well.
I felt most the story kept me intrigued and wanting more.. To see what would happen next. It was a continued range of emotions as I read it being so conflicted with my feelings for each character from one moment to the next!! Remy is flipping hilarious and had me cracking up!!
To concluded my rant I just want to say to Sullyn.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
** I received this book as an ARC but all opinions are my own **
HOLY MOTHER OF NYMPHS THE END?! Just when I thought I could predict where the story was going I was completely blindsided. The cliffhanger has me SHOOK.
I just have to point out that I truly loved Remi (my favorite character) and she and I should be besties. Also, can I mention that my feelings have totally changed towards someone I thought I hated.
It’s an easy read with some really good spice. I appreciate the plot twists and I didn’t expect my heart to stop multiple times!
Mind your triggers and you’ll have a good time through this read.
Are you kidding with another, even more horrific cliffhanger?!!! And the next book isn’t here to jump into😭 These books have a lot of potential, I was given as an ARC so hopefully once finalised it’ll be even better. The characters are superbly written and I love every single one of them completely.
The writing is much better in this one and is overall a massive improvement on the first, it feels more clearly and confidently written. Prose and general writing seems much improved from the first book, a lot less rushed too. Plot feels much better paced and fluid.
I felt that Coralena and Remy were reacting much more realistically to their situations and trauma than the first book, also actually worrying about and missing parents a bit more normally.
Still making great loveable characters with great depth and individuality, with the addition of more awesome strong female characters. There’s so much humour woven in that it really alleviates the tension and builds the connection for characters well. Every character is so well developed and deep, atticus is fabulous, a gruff rough guy that is honestly the most sensitive of the bunch (and he KNITS) and of course every single female character is badass and awesome. The characters are so brought to life and really amazing, seriously kudos for them.
Nice explanation/use of magic throughout the book, and an okay amount of world building, it could use some more explanation behind where they are, their surroundings and moving from place to place. I’m not usually a fan of too many povs but it’s actually works well for this and allows you to see each member of the group and the situation as a whole from different perspectives. It’s also used to effectively create tension and build up, especially in traumatic/big events. Not brilliant description for this one, I was struggling to picture characters, I know I complained at the overly direct and obvious descriptions in ‘Torment’ but there is a balance somewhere.
I like the twists and I guess andrin is growing on me, even though I didn’t really want to forgive him. I still hate the possibility/acceptance of Coralena and Andrin pursuing a romantic/sexual relationship 🤮 it’s icky icky icky.
I recieved a copy of this book from the author and write this review of my own free wil!!
Holy hyenas of the underworld and beyond this was even better then the first book!
So so hard to put down everytime i said "one more chapter" i just kept reading just needed to know more! And even know with this cliffhanger which is brutal and evil in its own way! I stil cant get enough and i bet the book will haunt my dreams in a good way!
So what do i think? Coralena sure grew and became more wise id say the bonds grew so so much and yet some felt like they went in circles.
I knew i would like Atticus and i was right he is my absolute favorite!
All the bonded from both groups feel like a tight knit family and now that they all are on the same page its so beautiful. Even Andrin eventho i wanted to dislike him at this point im slowly dislike him a little less lol. He and Remy is pure gold And Remy.. yeah Remy is the best there is.. the things she says sometimes had me howling with laughter but then again when ever she and Coralena are together against the bonded is beyond funny.
And its not just them oh nay nay even the guys and gals are learning and growing and i find i like the whole dymenic between both set of bondeds.
I was somewhat shocked but also not about the clifhanger.. it was to be exspected and i am sad but that makes me want to read the next book even more not only because i love the series but also because it makes me want answers!
I highly recommend this book im going with 9.1/10 Such an amazing book.
I don't really know how i feel. First i feel like these books don't have much plot, i realized that after reading them . And i can't forgive andren , no matter how sorry he is. He r*ped his sister, he had chained her to bed , hurt her, when she told him it hurt he made sure that it hurt more. I'm sorry but I don't even understand how her so called mates can accept him, if they were real mates they would kill him. It was really weird the turnaround from coralena about him , it want from being scared and hating him to being like "you know it's their customs to r*pe and in*est so i should try to understand him " WTF. No i hate him , i doesn't matter how sorry he is you can apologize for raping someone and forcing someone to bear your children. I was a bit disappointed in her mates considering many of them let her get r*ped but couldn't stop it, for some reason? And it feels like FF is very much in the background so would like more of it. Atticus is my favorite. And idk about how i feel now that they separated again, because it's so many characters to remember with Remy harem and coralena. So i honestly rather have them as one. I still give a high rating, because it was addicting to read. With interesting characters, unfortunately i think i like Remy more then coralena. Such a interesting world and that cliffhanger killed me . Will definitely read the next book,

This book. I started this series my first fantasy series ever. I think it was a great first choice. Book one was good, but it was a little slow to get started, in my opinion. I now understand that that was done so that you could start to understand the world and then the characters involved. The storyline had to be built so that book two could whisk you away just like it did to me.
Book two did not disappoint. In fact, I think I liked it. Much better than the first one. Book two takes you through the relationships and the bonded and helps you understand each of them a little bit better. Watching the relationships grow and flourish was a huge part of what made this book so great.
Heading into this book, Coralena is about to give birth to her twins. The way that her friends and bonded take care of her is beautiful and sweet. Remy is a firecracker and continues to keep the jokes flowing throughout the book.
Like every good book there has to be twist and turns and this one does not disappoint. From the time that Remy gives birth to the end of the book. The reader is on a roller coaster that does not seem to stop. The cliffhanger is huge and I don't know how I'm going to wait for book three.
This is a fun, quick and entertaining read. You won't be disappointed.

Chaos swirling all about once again for this ragtag band of bonded mates. Multi POV'S.
Ok make sure you check TW because this book has a lot of gray areas it delves into once again. With Coralena put in an awful situation with her so called birth family once again, it takes a wicked and brutal turn when her final bonded mate finds her. With each new passage through new lands, Coralena and Remy find themselves pulled into the bonds with their mates even more. With Andrin being pulled into two directions, this time has caused a bit of space between Remy and Coralena at times. As Coralena's pregnancy reaches its ending point, a cliffhanger of epic portions is thrown at you once again. So buckle up for yet another disturbing moment that will have you guessing what will happen next.
If you love a dark and twisted tale of many different Nymphs and lands unknown, finding love in a bonded mates, you definitely wanna check this series out! It's has a ton of action packed moments with twisted spice mixed into it, also giving it all kinds of dark fun.
I went into the first book blind and again with this one too (as in I didn’t read the blurb), I just finished book 1 then dived straight in to this one. It takes up from where the last one left us hanging and continued with the twists and turns. Seriously just when I though the story was going one way…BAM… nope here’s another twist! I thought the first one was an emotional rollercoaster but this one was an emotional tornado. I really cannot predict what’s going to happen next, especially after that cliff-hanger! The problem this time is that I have not got the next one to read which means waiting to see what dark and twisted ways Sullyn can come up with to addle my mind! Especially when she has already sent me in a tailspin about a certain unlikeable character starting to redeem himself and my dark heart being all twisted up and actually liking him. I think I need to set Remmy on her… on second thoughts no because I need the rest of this twisted tale like yesterday! Again check your TW before reading.
Finished this one in less than 24 hours like the first book and that cliffhanger! Noooooo! I’m so sad but also can’t wait until the 3rd book!
This series is seriously everything and more!! So, the first book was amazing but I loved this one even more. This book picked up right where we left off on book one and I’m happy that things started falling into place for Coralena and Remy. As much as I love all the bonded men, I knew I was going to love Atticus so much. You will have to grab the book to find out why.
It was also great to see the growth from both Coralena and Remy but also with Andrin too. I did want to hate him but this book made me start to like him more with understanding of everything.
I love how Coralena’s bonded and Remy’s bonded are like one be happy family. Having that much love and support between all of them is so beautiful to read about. Super excited to see my love grow for them all when the 3rd book comes out!
If you’re looking for a series to start that will have you turning the pages so fast this is the one to check out!
You've heard of morally gray characters, one could say The Nymphs of Incyssia is a Morally gray world. Book 2, Tethered in Discord sets our characters on a new course meeting new allies along the way and some enemies to shake things up and make sure our two groups of fated mates aren't getting to comfortable and domestic. I particularly enjoyed learning more about the different elemental powers and kingdoms.
There are lots of plot developments and we're left with more to look forward to after a harrowing cliffhanger. I love the way this dark fantasy world is unfolding and I can't wait to return for book 3.
Quotes I loved 🖤
"Who knew what I would do to rid the world of… well, others would call it evil, but that was inaccurate. The belief in good and evil was pitiful... Nothing and no one was truly one or the other. That’s not how this world, or any of the connecting ones, worked."
"Damn the fates. They really screwed us and not in the fun way.”
Coralena is taken by Atticus, another bonded, to a castle hidden and secure. He has helped her escape from the brutality of the king and queen. Remy, her bonded, and the rest of Coralena’s bonded all board a ship to the castle. They want to keep her and the twins safe. When they are all at the castle, many harsh secrets will be learned. Many disagreements will occur; but they will always work them out so they can all be together. Then, Kiran’s parents appear as well as Coralena’s and Remy’s; everything will change and not for the better. The twins are coming and there will be celebrating but OMG…the cliffhanger ending you will not see coming~ This is the second book in the series that will allow the reader to get to know the bonded up close and personal. This is a prelude to how they will change as they learn to navigate the world they have been thrust into. The ending though left me in total shock...what happened and what will happen next? I cannot wait!
wow! I blasted through this book and damn it was everything I wanted it to be and nothing I expected at the same time!!
We pick right up from the end of book 1 and im gonna admit i fell head over heels with Atticus from the get go!! He is everything!! But dont let me get distracted with my swooning! Coralena and Remy grow so much in this book from the first and it is done so beautifully i had tears in my eyes at times! The love they have for one another is so special and yet so different from the love they have for their bonded that the ups and downs on there journey will make you want to scream and jump for joy along with them, and believe me i did!. The story moves along at the perfect pace with lots of trials for the two groups to overcome and it all leads up to one hell of a mind blowing ending! Im so excited for the next book and yet also a little fearful for the characters ive come to love so much!
Please go read this book and show it the love it truly deserves!
This is my time reading a book by Sullyn Shaw, I was not sure what to expect when I started it but the cover caught my eye. This is the second book to the Nymphs of Incyssia series and it did not disappoint, it was as good as book one.
The second book starts us out with Coralena about to give birth, she has the support of her friends during the process, and I think that is just amazing. And Remy well is just as feisty as ever, jokes a plenty throughout the book.
This book does not disappoint with all its twists and turns along the way. From the start to the end, I was drawn in and didn’t want to stop reading.
Want to know what is going to happen next? Well head on over and grab yourself a copy and give it a read.
Book 2 continues Atticus' POV, as he searches for Coralena & rescues her. Another mate bond is confirmed & I love Coralena's thoughts regarding her newest mate, "thank f***, I finally have a mate that will stab a bitch for me". Coralene, Remy, mates, and allies escape the palace and just wait for the surprises & twists as they wait for Coralena's pregnancy to end. And yes, you will not have to wait until book 3 before "we have some wrinkly potatoes to bring into this world". Things seem to be looking better for our large cast of characters, but an unexpected betrayal leads to a heart wrenching cliffhanger.
If you're new to the series, make sure you check out the TW, and if you've already read Tethered in Torment, welcome back for a wild ride.
OMG ok the cliffhanger is tough in this one! Ok make sure you check TW because this book has a lot of gray areas it delves into once again.
So much went on in book 2! We see some character growth with Coralena and between her and her bonded. Rent is phenomenal and one of my favorite characters. With Coralena put in an awful situation with her so called birth family once again, it takes a wicked and brutal turn when her final bonded mate finds her.
If you love a dark and twisted tale of many different Nymphs and worlds similar yet unknown, finding love in a bonded mates, you definitely wanna check this series out! It's has a ton of action packed moments with spice mixed into it, also giving it all kinds of dark fun.
Tethered in Discord by Sullyn Shaw is book 2 in the series Nymphs in Incyssia. The story starts off with Coralena in
another terrible situation at the hands of her family. However this time her bonded come to the rescue. As Coralena and Remi get to know their bonded they all must find the way they fit together. Additional Coralena begins to heal from her trauma.
There is a lot going on with the characters in this story. Readers learn about the bonded groups. There are a lot of surprises. This story is super spicy and taboo. There are quite a few themes in this story that may bother some so please read the content warnings. I rated this Amory 5 out of 5 stars. If you like dark poly romances with found families you'll love Thethered In Discord!
So I have an additional favorite character- Atticus. He sits right there at the top with Remy. As I said in my review of the first book, I have no triggers, and if you've read the first book, then you know what to expect. But check her page for a list. Expect more worldbuilding, more bonds (one of the twists I didn't see, and that I'm having a love/hate relationship with, lol), and detailed MF, MM, and FF smut. And omg, the plot twists in this book. That cliffhanger? It's a doozy... I'm not ashamed to say there might have been a few tears. And now I'll just have to (impatiently) wait for the third book.
The spice in this second book in the series is perfection! I loved the world building and character development that is seen through both bonded groups. This book made me giggle, cry, and shout what the bleep about a dozen times. The twists introduced into this dark fantasy was unpredictable and I am so mad (in a good way) with the cliffhanger. I loved the multiple POVs and addition of new characters rather than just mentions here and there. This was a hard book to put down and I have no doubt the other books in this series will be just as amazing.
After that cliff-hanger we were left with after book one I wasn't sure what the heck was going to happen but was pleasantly surprised with how things played out. Then bang I was blindsided by all the reveals this book surprised me with.
I still adore Coralena and how she is navigating this world that is still new to her. She's been thrown some curveballs and yet she keeps her head high and gets on with what needs to be done.
Atticus was a brilliant addition to the group dynamic, and I look forward to seeing how he's going to destroy the world for what's been done.
My favourite character is still Remy and all her kick buttery. My heart hurt for her during this book, and I felt the author really done the character justice. Making us feel the pain and utter rage she radiates. Poe squeezed all my heart strings and damn near broke my heart, I instantly loved her.
I still don't like Andreas and think he has soooooo much to make up for even if he cant really be held responsible for it... I guess (-_-)
That cliff-hanger was cruel. As if the first incident wasn't bad enough the author added another and then another and left me with my heart in my throat and my jaw un-hinged.
Looking forward to seeing what the author does with book three.
This is the second book in the Nymphs of Incyssia series. After that cliffhanger in book one I was left wanting more and this book delivered! The amount of mystery and thing after thing happening had me feeling all kinds of emotions! The first book had me feeling everything and then this one came along and added more emotions on top of what I have already felt with book one. I need the third book like right now! That cliffhanger at the end... uggh!!!! I still don't like Andrin, he is going to have to do something amazing to win me over. But on the other end I LOVE Atticus so much... and he knits come on, that is the cherry on top.
I have chills after reading that ending! How in the world did I not see that coming?! This book had me ready to pull my hair out and at the end left me bereft . For the life of me I loved this book and yes the second book was even better because now I know more of the characters . Oh and let’s not forget the steam and what remy wants with andrin . So many things came to light in this book along with the people who raised Cora and Lena.I seriously can’t wait for the next book in this series!
Holy hell of an ending (cliffhanger) I’m still waiting to wake up and be like oh ok the ending didn’t really happen and a new one will happen 🤣🤣. Remy is probably one of the funniest people I have ever read about . You made all of my emotions come out in this book that’s for sure . If you want a book that you can’t put down because you need to know what’s going to happen next ! This is the book. It was so hard to put down. Read this book and be ready for your mind to never stop thinking what’s happening next … You will not be let down
Ok so I have a few issues with this book. I was addicted, yes. I wanted to read just one more chapter then one more. It took me longer than it should (not because it wasn’t good but because I got sick which is why it took me so long to write this review) but I was intrigued. I do NOT like coralena’s brother and was upset at her and her mates.
Remy was hilarious. This wasn’t surprising.
I don’t want to really say why I was upset at the mates because I don’t want to spoil anything but I enjoyed it overall.
This was full of some very shocking moments, especilaly that cliffhanger ending! I was so not ready for it! We finally get to know more about each character and see Coralena's go though her preganancy, and both her and Remi navigate their bonds with their mates in the world of Incyssia as more twists and turns are thrown at them. I will now be patiently impatiently waiting for book 3 to release!
Sullyn Shaw’s second book in her series Nymphs In Incyssia is a rollercoaster ride of exciting highs and depressing lows for some of these characters. This book has plenty of exciting adventure, suspense, mystery and steamy situations so riveting I couldn’t put it down until the very last page. That ending was enough to make me scream, yes there is a cliffy. I can’t wait to see what this author has planned next. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!
I normally don’t read fantasy. But, when I read the blurb for this book, I was intrigued. I am so glad I read this! Make sure you check the trigger warnings before you read this!
I don’t know where I want to begin. This book kept me guessing. Just when I think I have it figure out, I am spun for another loop! Be ready for the cliffhanger at the end! It is a crazy one! I can’t wait for the next book!
What?! Sullyn Shaw pulls us in and doesn't let go in Tethered in Discord! This book blew me away. At any point when I thought I might be able to figure out what was at play, I was wrong. Sullyn's talent of weaving together these incredibly complicated characters full of life with the amazing world of Incyssia will leave you begging her for more. I'm not going to give any spoilers, but if you thought book one was good, just wait. I'm destroying my fingernails in anticipation of book three, and I know Sullyn is going to deliver on every dark promise she's made. This is an absolute must-read book and series! Just please leave Cillian, Atticus, and Andrin for me. Thanks 🤣
Tethered In Discord by Sullyn Shaw is the second in the Nymphs of Incyssia Series. This book picks up where book one left off. Coralena is pregnant and finding her bond mates. So many emotional things are happening in this book. Lots of twists and turns. Make sure to read through the TWs. There is a huge cliff hanger at the end. Can not wait for the third book to come!
