Arsenal All 4-1: A Guidebook to an Historic Season Straight from Highbury's Gooner Grapevine

Rate this book
Arsenal All 4-1  is a week-by-week account of the Gunners 2003-2004 undefeated exploits. It provides an in-depth description of the season's legion of snakes and ladders—send offs and resultant suspensions, mad refereeing decisions, game-changing goals and heart-stopping howlers. It is a tale of ten tantalizing months of trains, planes, and automobiles, from one of the privileged few ever-present Gooners who've witnessed this wonderful odyssey from the terraces. Re-live this scintillating season of total soccer as revealed in the sort of charismatic reports which could have only come from a Gooner who cut his teeth on the tedious triumphs of the Arsenal's infamous flat back four.

What a wonderful account of a football supporters year watching Arsenal go a season unbeaten. This is the sort of book Nick Hornby would have loved to write but lacking the humour or the pedigree of this tremendously amusing book. It brought it all back right down to Martin Keown's testimonial.
