Includes two chapters written by Professor Paul Gilbert explaining the causes of depression and how to overcome it.
I wasn't sure when I was reading the forward, it was very serious as you would expect from an expert in the field of depression. I was finding it hard to read which is mainly to do with the fact I am currently struggling with depression and find reading difficult. Once I got onto the individual stories I enjoyed it much more. They felt written by real people and it is nice to read some very differeing accounts.
The individual stories left me with a little hope. Depression is a real mental illness that so many take for grantred or turn their backs completely and act as though it never existed.
Maybe the next generation can continue to enlighten those out there of the depts that mental illness can occur. It's time to take the power of prayer and destroy these generational curses that have been passed down to us.
