Depth Charge

My book, Depth Charge in a very interesting book. A couple guys go on a secret mission to blow up the submarine. They get shot up but manage to complete the mission. It is an intense book with a lot of action in it. This is a kind of book that makes you want to keep reading. This book is at a Lexile level of 790L and a reading level of 5.3. And the author of this book is “M. Zachary Sherman”.
The setting of this book is usually bright sunny and interesting but sometimes it can get dark dangerous and bloody. The book was mostly located in the woods and by oceans. The life lesson that i felt was interesting is “hard work pays off”. What happened in the book is the main character got his mission done and saved people but died.
My recommendation, this book is a great book, it is fairly easy to read and i like it a lot. The words aren't very difficult to read and it is not very long book. There is about 80 pages in this book. Also there is many pictures to look at in the book to understand it better. The pictures are 3D and they have great color. I really liked the ending because they got shot up but they saved people from the submarine. Overall this book was one of the best books i have read.

This book is about two American soldiers, Brett and Donovan. They had a mission to sink a Nazi ship and retrieve secret codes. While on this mission they pretend to be engineers to fix the boat. They only activated one bomb, and everything went downhill from there. They were chased and shot at. Brett gets shot in the leg and dies, and they even loose the codes. In the end Donovan meets up with Brett's family and tells them everything.
