A tried and true favorite. Always a good pick me up when I'm down in the literary dumps.

I remember reading this book over 20 years ago. I loved it then, and I love it now. I love it because it is about love as much as it is about romance.

Hooray!

J R Ewing is rereleasing her wonderful Regencies. I first read this book when it came out in the late 90s. I loved the entire series. Rereading them now feels like going home.
This story is a poignant romance with a mature examination of the nature of love. I have all her books in paperback and I can't wait to get them in electronic form.Welcome back Ms Ewing.

It's nice that they're making these available as e-books. The male character is gorgeous & bodily-wise, very solid indeed, however, the author keeps pointing that out every time she can instead of filling her book with other plot points or dialogue. It ends up making the story a bit insipid. i still enjoyed his transformation from rogue to good guy who is deserving love.
