It’s hard to change your chosen profession to the up and up when you’re known in the car world as the ‘Man’ that can get anything. So when my MC switches gears and goes legit, my business suffers, and I struggle to find a new identity in it. Then she shows up and throws me into a tailspin. This five-foot-nothing woman has the audacity to think she can steal from me and get away with it. She has no clue that once I catch her, she’ll belong to me. When her MC finds out about us, they give her an ultimatum, me or death. I don’t handle threats to my family well. The MalaSangre MC is about to learn how I got my road name. Spark is the 5th book in D. Williams MorningStar MC: Reno chapter series and it did not disappoint. I could not wait for Spark to come out after seeing the little hints about his story in Priest. I knew it was going to be hilarious and I was right. It was but it was also emotional and sad, steamy and hot, violent and action-packed.
Spark is the VP of the Reno chapter and considers himself the best car thief until his cars are stolen from him. He's always been attracted to crazy and trouble and his little car thief is definitely not lacking any of that. Mercy is a woman stuck with the MalaSangre gang trying to survive for her daughter Lucifer or Lucy as she calls her. When her husband got sent to jail and killed her life unraveled around her. There was a price on her daughter's head that she never knew about. Spark immediately wants to claim her and Lucy for himself. Vowing to do whatever he had to to get Lucy back to her mom and keep them safe. Along the way, they learned Mercy's trouble is tied to an enemy of the club and Mercy's life was a lie she had no idea about. Just a pawn in someone else's game, used for their gain.
I gave this a 5-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. I loved the dynamic between Spark and Mercy. It was automatic as much as Mercy tried not to like him and it was hilarious the whole time because of how independent and stubborn Mercy is. I think they've each met their match in each other and are definitely a force to be reckoned with. We got to see a few of the other characters with issues in their life like Glitch and Shock who both have some problems on the rise. And with Sparrow who has a secret she's been keeping and whose book is next.

These do need to be read in order, as they flow from one story to the next. In the last book, Spark/Issac is tired of playing this game that he has with Mercy. So, he decides that the next time he catches her, will be the last as she is his and he will not let her go again. But Spark realizes quickly that the game is never over, but the rules do seem to be changing as more players enter the game, will Spark be able to keep his "little mouse" safe?
I have been a fan of this series since the very start. While there are quite a few stories in this series, and now this spin off series, there have been a few that were just ok and unfortunately Spark and Mercy are just ok for me. I felt like this was rushed, almost like the author just wanted to get their story done and move on to the next. We do get some of the danger and violence that we are used to seeing, and a few ok naughty bits. I give this 4 stars.

Mercy was quite a spitfire. She was impulsive, strong, and loyal. Her circumstances were rough, yet she managed to find love and her daughter. There were losses which she took in stride with the support of Spark and the club. Spark was confident from the get-go that he would have Mercy. He was very accepting of all in her life, everything hers became his. He was protective and caring, though ruthless when needed. He had a big heart. Together, they were hot and steamy, and strong support for the other. I enjoyed this story.

This is the fifth book in this incredible series, and this is Spark and Mercy’s story. When the MC goes legit, Spark’s business is suffering, and Mercy challenges him. When Mercy is given an ultimatum, Spark will do what he must to keep her safe and protected.
This is a well written story which is action packed, with opposites attract, secrets, family, loyalty, danger, suspense, intrigue, challenges, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

She stole his cars! He plans to get them back as well as her once finds her again. The chase is on. She's good at what she does even if working for this dark MC isn't by choice. She can't fail--the cost is too high and it isn't money.
They go on quite a ride. keeping up with them and the story will keep you tuned and unable to put it down. I ended up reading it twice it was so good. There is so much that would spoil it for the reader so I'll just wish you reading pleasure.

Spark and Mercy are complete opposites who can't stand to be in the same room together, and then they happen to come in contact because of their jobs.
She will run and he will chase until he catches her.
She has very good reasons for doing what she is doing and he will go above and beyond to do what he must to keep her and her secret safe.
Love the way the entire MC family steps for each other and they really come through for Spark here.

Loved it. Was not what I had expected it was so much more. It was a page turner. I could not put it down until I had read the whole book (who needs sleep anyway). Loved Sparks possessiveness towards Mercy. He was just scared to lose her but if she really wanted to go he would not have held her back. That is how much he loved her.
Love this series and forward to so much more. Highly recommended.

Issac aka Spark is tired of chasing his mouse, Marcy so when he catches her, he refuses to let her go again.
While Mercy claims she hates him, there's a fine line between love and hate. Especially when spark does everything he can to make Mercy feel full, including finding her family.

What can I say, this book was another amazing story by this author.
I had a hard time putting my kindle down. The story was well written
and had a very good flow.
Spark and Mercy have such amazing chemistry between them.
There is loads of MC action and adventure for readers.
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

This is book 5 in the Morning Star MC Reno Chapter. Mercy and Sparks story is full of action and super-hot. I loved this book. This was a pretty quick read for me as I didn’t want to put it down once I started reading it. It’s a pretty fast paced page turner. I love all the characters and can’t wait to read the next book!

I've really enjoyed this series so far and I knew Sparks book would be wild after the preview we got in Priest. I love that these books are quick reads but they have a good plot, lots of action and spice! I really loved the back and forth between Spark and Mercy. And this book was filled with action from the very beginning. I'm curious to see who's been following Shock and what's going on there. But I'm really excited for Sparrows book!

This book is definitely a page turner. This will keep you guessing what will happen next. This club is a non-traditional mc. Their church meetings, everyone is welcome to attend, and they have men and women as members. This is a true family setting. It is an mc, so please, with other mc book readnthe warnings first. D Williams is an amazing author. I can't wait until her next book is released.

I loved Spark! When his cars are stolen, he is floored to know his thief is a little mouse of a woman with a big attitude. Mercy is just doing what she has to. When their world's collide, sparks definitely fly! This book had it all. It's a great storyline, amazing characters, and of course spice! D. Williams never disappoints with her MC series!

When Spark meets his Little Mouse let’s say sparks fly. He literally knows as soon as he sees her that she is his. She fights tooth and nail to not want him. Through every obstacle he proves himself.
I would rate this about a 3 in spice but the story line and characters are top notch. This series just keeps getting better!!

The last few books have had a lot of errors. Plot holes, contradictions with what happened or what was said in previous books, places where the wrong names are used, and a lot of grammatical errors.
Honestly I’m getting sick of it and I think this will be my last book by this author. Which sucks because I loved the original MSMC books so much.

When Spark, the VP of the Reno Chapter finds the person who stole his cars he never expected to fall for the pint sized Latina and though she keeps pushing him away he doesn't go far until she opens up and tells him about herself and her troubles, he swears to help her.

Wow. This book had so much. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Spark and Mercy together, they have instant attraction. But Mercy keeps disappearing but Spark never gives up. Spark is there for Mercy when her world comes tumbling down.
I can't wait for more.

This is book kept me on my toes and I laughed. I love how she includes other members from the other books and the beginning of each book she has put the peoples names and relationships and what their road name is. I can't wait for the next one

Spark is flabbergasted when his car is stolen, and even more so when he finds out who stole his car. Mercy is just following orders. She is a firecracker that keeps disappearing on Spark. When her life is in danger, Spark and the MorningStar MC will band together and face the foes. Will Spark be able to protect Mercy?

Another great read in this series. These two really have a spark and the way he is with her makes my day. I really enjoyed this book, each book gets better and I get more invested.

Really loved Spark & Bianca's book it was really good to see how they emotional rollercoaster of emotions came through and kept you glued to the pages and kept you looking to what happens next.
