I have thoroughly enjoyed all the books I've read from the Sowers Series, but this one ranks among the very most enjoyed.

I had no idea the impact Livingstone had nor if the exemplary life he lead. He truly was inspiring and a great role-model for young and old alike.

Grateful for a sweet lady that bought the set of these books for my students. Thought I will read them also. Enjoyed an easy read of David Livingstone. Inspires me to want to read his own writings. Also made me realize how much we take for granted as his wife had no way to contact him the 5 years he was exploring.

Read for homeschool with children. Really understood by 4th grader. Of necessity, it glosses over large portions of Dr. Livingstone's story, but is a very good introduction that leaves you interested in learning more.
